FROZEN 2 TEASER TRAILER BREAKDOWN

Well six years later, the highest grossing animated film is back for a sequel which I am sure is going to be great, well that's at least what we see from the new teaser trailer of the film. There are also a few secrets in this trailer and the possible hinting at a theory which has been speculated to death on the internet over the past half dozen years. So let's get into all of that and more in this breakdown of the Frozen 2 trailer.

So this first scene of the trailer seems somewhat mundane in a way where we see Ice Queen Elsa () using her powers on this ocean.
First of all, I do have to say that the animation here looks incredible, it looks for vivid, more fluid, it all looks great. The water alone is an animation spectacle, especially with how the stormy effect is incorporated into it as well.
In this scene, it seems like Elsa's is practicing with her powers, which seem like they have expanded a whole lot since the first film. But why near the ocean?

Well, the ocean as you remember is the last place her parents were when their boat sank. What I'm trying to get at here is what if Elsa wants to create an ice path across the ocean to find her parents. This may be because at some point earlier in the film, Elsa was tipped off about her and Anna's parents still possibly being alive, or she just might want some proper closure such as seeing the shipwreck at the bottom of the ocean.

We know that from interviews with the directors of Frozen that the parents survive the shipwreck, so it is possible that Elsa does find her parents. However, since their parents' deaths to when the film picks up, a lot of time has passed, and I personally don't think Elsa would find her parents alive, I think she might find someone else on this quest.

I believe that Elsa will find Tarzan, her brother. This is creating a pay off from the theories which have been floating around since the film first came out connecting the two films. This would be an insane reveal, and a great twist to see on screen. I don't think Tarzan would be an antagonist, but Elsa might want to just bring her brother to his rightful home. There could be interesting stories to be told with the character, and a great addition to the cast.

A few things would have to happen in order for this to be the case. Tarzan would have to be born a few decades earlier, however, apart from that, this is entirely plausible, and would be the bases of this 'Disney Cinematic Universe'.

Again, this is all speculation, and this theory may never be paid off, even though it has been confirmed by the directors previously.

The next shots we see in the trailer are of the main cast of characters from the first film all in this autumn forest. There isn't a whole lot to speculate here because Frozen is mostly a new franchise. Well, the first film was based lightly off Hans Christan Anderson's 'The Snow Queen" with the concept of Elsa and her conquest of power and freedom, however, Disney has taken the film off the classic novel's rails, so this main story could focus on anything with anyone being the antagonist.

In conclusion, this teaser trailer for Frozen 2 was great, as I managed to fit in a whole theory from that one scene. The film looks great with more fluid animation, and I am sure that Disney is going to put another billion dollars in the bank with this film.
One thing which did surprise me was that there is no subtitle for the film, it would have made it sound a little more epic, and I'm sure anything would've worked: "Frozen 2: Electric Boogaloo".
