DEADPOOL 2 DOMINO FIRST LOOK

Image
Some people just know how to work a red carpet. #Domino #DeadPool2 pic.twitter.com/llCc8JfKT6 — Ryan Reynolds (@VancityReynolds) July 31, 2017 Ryan Reynolds tweeted out the first image of Zazie Beetz as the new character, Domino, shown off how Deadpool was revealed in the first film, which is a neat call back. Initial thoughts on the character design. Well, I personally like it, the suit looks fine on her, a slightly different version from the comics, but with more buckles, straps, and cleavage. A lot of people are freaking out that she isn't albino. For me, this is not a problem. She can be recognized from her Domino marks around her eye, a key comic book characteristic of the character, but keeping Zazie's regular skin color for the character is fine, it isn't going to make the character anymore or any less like her comic character. I don't mind change from the comics, just to see what can be improved. But if she had the albino skin color, that would be

RICK AND MORTY RICKMANCING THE STONE REVIEW

Image
Season 3 Episode 2: Rick and Morty season 3 is finally here, after a couple months since the first episode, we have episode two, which does carry over from the first episode, so let's do a quick recap of the episode. With Jerry moving out Rick, Morty, and Summer go to a post apocalyptic Mad Max Earth where Rick is after a new isotope. Summer fits into the crowd of the Earth and Morty is given a new arm and its memories by Rick, sending him on a rampage through the Thunderdome. With Rick caught stealing the isotope he flees back home without the grandkids and makes robots to replace them without Beth knowing. In this time Morty continues his rampage with the new arm, and Summer marries Important Joe, Hemorrhage. Rick comes back to get the kids and manages to help the Mad Max society use the isotope to help power their world. Towards the end, Summer and Important Joe getting a divorce like Beth and Jerry did, and the trio goes home with Rick taking the isotope, ruining the

AVENGERS INFINITY WAR COMIC CON POSTER BREAKDOWN

Image
From San Diego Comic Con, Marvel released a three part poster for Avengers Infinity War, featuring the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy, going up against Thanos and his Black Order. But let's go through the poster, listing the characters and what is different about them. Groot - (Vin Diesel) starting in the top left corner is a teenage Groot, grown up from Baby form in Guardians of the Galaxy vol.2, it will be interesting to see how Vin Diesel voices this Groot, like if he throws in a few voice cracks. Rocket - (Bradley Cooper [voice], Sean Gunn [body]) rocket is the same, he is keeping the blue suit from the second film, which is weird as in other concept art he was in the orange suit, however concept art changes to the film. Thor - (Chris Hemsworth) sporting the same haircut as from Ragnarok, Thor is looking ready for battle, hopefully getting a suit back like his old one, not the Ragnarok suit. Like Rocket, in concept art, Thor had longer hair, which might cha

WONDER WOMAN 2 RELEASE DATE

Image
At Comic Con it was announced by Warner Bros that the sequel to this year's Wonder Woman will be December 13, 2019! So I want to discuss what Wonder Woman 2 may be about, and what the date means. Many people have speculated that Wonder Woman 2 would be set in the Cold War, where Diana (Gal Gadot) can team up with her same allies from the first film if she wanted to or get an all new crew, that is up in the air. It would be the 70's setting where the film would have a spy tone, where Diana can go full stealth with the Invisible Jet. Speaking of the 70's, the film would plug in as many easter eggs to the Lynda Carter tv show from 77, which would be awesome. The villain of the film could be Cheetah, it could be Ares again as it is a war, but my personal pick would be Circe. The film could be set in present day if wanted to, but another period piece film would be so awesome because you could do so many deep cuts that would only work in the 70's. Stepping away fro

ARROW SEASON 6 TRAILER BREAKDOWN

Image
The trailer for Arrow Season 6 is here, and it shows off footage from the first episode, titled "Fallout". The trailer is awesome with some clarification of what characters are alive, which we will speculate on. There was other news that I will get to throughout the breakdown. But without further a do, let's get started. The trailer starts with flashbacks to the Season 5 finale, with Adrian (Josh Segarra) shooting himself outside on Lian Yu, causing the island to blow up with the majority of team arrow, including Deathstroke, stranded on the island. Oliver (Stephen Amell) tries to convince William (Jack Moore) that the whole island experience was a dream, however, Willaim is not buying it. Oliver asks "where do you think the bad man is?" and Willaim replies 'you", this may be the way the conversation was cut, but it does make sense, Oliver is the bad man, the cause of everything, such as Prometheus. Here she is, Katie Cassidy as Black Sir

CAPTAIN MARVEL IN THE MCU

Image
This year at Comic Con, during the Marvel panel, there were concept images for the 2019 film, Captain Marvel shown off, and some details of the film revealed, from over the Comic Con weekend. The most notable was the reveal that the film would be set in the 90's. A new time period Marvel has not yet explored, and a sensitive one for them, but they can now laugh it off. But Captain Marvel in the 90's, seems interesting. As it would seem, Carol Danvers gets her powers in the 90's and becomes the hero, Captain Marvel, possibly having an off planet adventure to avoid anyone questioning why she wasn't in the Avengers. By I am guessing her powers will contain anti-aging, so Brie Larson can look the same 20 years later.  As we know Samuel L. Jackson will be reprising his role as Nick Fury in the film so he will be in the early days of being an agent of SHIELD, or possibly SWORD, we really don't know. Confirmed to be the villains of the film are Skrulls, which will

FLASHPOINT FILM CONFIRMED

Image
At San Diego Comic Con it was announced that there was indeed a solo Flash film starring Ezra Miller in development, which will focus on Flashpoint. This was so really awesome news, as this confirms that the Flash is getting a solo film which was kind of up in the air after all the director mayhem. But if you haven't heard of the story Flashpoint, Barry Allen, the Flash goes back in time to stop the Reverse Flash from murdering his mother. In doing so, Barry finds himself in a drastically alternate timeline where Thomas Wayne is the Batman after his son Bruce Wayne was killed, Cyborg is still Cyborg, Superman was captured by the government at birth, and the Amazonians and Atlantians are having a war. So Barry seeing all of this has to come to terms with losing his mother again and set the timeline back to how it was. This is one of my personal favorite stories because it deals with so much, development of Barry and a drastically different apocalyptic world. The story was ada

SUPERGIRL SEASON 3 TRAILER BREAKDOWN

Image
The trailer for Supergirl season 3 has come out of Comic-Con, and there is a decent amount of footage, especially as it has only been filming for a couple of days. WHat I do have to say is that the trailer did seem more in the tone of say, Batman, rather than Supergirl, it seems like it may be going a flash route where it goes dark for the third season, maybe a little too dark. But let's take a look at some of the shots of the trailer: It seems like through the beginning of the season Kara will be very upset, but she is bottling it up, trying to be the girl of steel, which is the title of the episode. I feel like Melissa Benoist can pull off a really angry, depressed Kara. Here is Erica Durance who is playing Alura Zor-El, Kara's mother, who appears to be in some sort of vision. New visions that Kara might have of her mother, like how Arrow had flashbacks. This may be how Kara is dealing with the loss on Mon. Here is the villain, Reign, played by Odette Annable.

THE FLASH SEASON 4 COMIC CON TRAILER BREAKDOWN

Image
At Comic Con a Flash season 4 trailer has come out, there was a lot of stuff that was going on about different characters and where Barry is. So without further a do, let's get into the breakdown.  The trailer starts off with a voice over narration from Iris West (Candice Patton), which may be the replacement for the Grant Gustin narration at the start of each episode as Barry Allen is gone.  The team is trying to live without Barry, Iris is being strong, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) is in denial that Barry is gone forever, and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is just depressed. Really interesting to see how the characters are living Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) is back not as Killer Frost, which is interesting. It seems like that they fund a cure for the metahuman inside her, which will be interesting to find out.  Peekaboo (Britne Oldford) is back on the show to cause more chaos as a rogue on the street Wally has to take care of.  One of the new rogues, this Sa

THOR RAGNAROK TRAILER BREAKDOWN

Image
The full, official trailer for Thor Ragnarok is here, straight from Comic Con, there was a lot in the trailer so much awesome stuff, so let's break it down.  The trailer starts off with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) giving a recap to Hulk in the arena before their fight  New and improved CG on the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and he look so awesome in the gladiator armor.  Green Marvel Studios logo  Hela (Cate Blanchet) has invaded Asgard and she misses tearing through bodies.  Thor totally won in the fight against the Hulk. I am excited to see the reunion between Thor and Bruce Banner.  This is a special scene. Hela is putting on her head gear with her orange colored powers. The missing Infinity Stone is the Soul Stone, and is colored orange, matching Hela's powers, taking souls with her powers being shown off as orange. So Hela might have the Soul Stone. Just an insane shot of all these birds and warriors going for an attack on Hela, possibly in a
