The trailer for Supergirl season 3 has come out of Comic-Con, and there is a decent amount of footage, especially as it has only been filming for a couple of days. WHat I do have to say is that the trailer did seem more in the tone of say, Batman, rather than Supergirl, it seems like it may be going a flash route where it goes dark for the third season, maybe a little too dark.
But let's take a look at some of the shots of the trailer:
It seems like through the beginning of the season Kara will be very upset, but she is bottling it up, trying to be the girl of steel, which is the title of the episode. I feel like Melissa Benoist can pull off a really angry, depressed Kara.
Here is Erica Durance who is playing Alura Zor-El, Kara's mother, who appears to be in some sort of vision. New visions that Kara might have of her mother, like how Arrow had flashbacks. This may be how Kara is dealing with the loss on Mon.
Here is the villain, Reign, played by Odette Annable. I am curious as to how the character is introduced in the season if she is going to act as a friend to Kara and then stab in in the back, or come out straight as a bad guy.
Overall, the trailer for Supergirl season 3 looks interesting, it seems like it is going to be a darker tone, which can be appreciated, however it might make the mistake of tone that the Flash made in season 3, going too dark. With the "Worlds of DC" changing its line up of films after seeing its success and failures, Warner Brothers has announced that they are developing the Matt Reeves Batman film to come out in summer 2021. This news is something which has been speculated for a while now, and it seems like Ben Affleck is leaving behind the role of Batman and the film seems like it will be a prequel with a much younger Batman going on an adventure with a younger rogues gallery. It seems like the film will still take place in this same continuity that we have been seeing. It's not going to be like the Joker film coming out later this year which is separate from the Worlds of DC. Going in the future with this new younger Batman. I think we could see a trilogy with the younger character. In that trilogy, we could see the villains which we haven't seen before in these films or ones we haven't seen much of before. Season 5 Episode 14: Hey everyone, we are back with a brand new episode of the Flash, directed by Rachael Talalay, and Killer Frost herself, Danielle Pannabaker. In this episode we see Nora get herself caught in a time loop, and with Barry out of the picture, she has no idea on what to do. So spoilers ahead for this episode, let's recap. The episode starts off with Cisco finding a meta-human cure, however, it needs a month to be synthesized, so Barry takes it into the speed force for an hour, as time moves differently in there. Ever since the Firestorm matrix left Legends of Tomorrow, everyone has been speculating about who could fill the metahuman void on the time-traveling superhero team. Now it is confirmed that Keiynan Lonsdale's, Kid Flash, from the Flash tv series is now going to join the Legends of Tomorrow team as a series regular on the show. The news broke from Entertainment Weekly where it was announced that Wally West will make his second appearance on the show in season three, episode 11, which is set to air on February 19. From there the young speedster will officially gain membership into the team on episode 13 which will air March 5. It was also said that Kid Flash will not be on any episode of the Flash leading to February 19. To start off, this is absolutely awesome news.
