Well, I have not posted anything on here in the past year, except for this, my year in review of this year.

This year had the theme of 'getting back to normal' after the lockdown phase of the pandemic. And, yes it is nice to the world healing. But for the step taken forward, I feel as though the world has taken two steps backwards.

Through lockdowns I felt like humanity would launch itself into becoming a more robust, empathetic society, but this year kind of disproved that. I could go on about how we are taking no significant steps towards the climate crisis, or the ever expanding wealth gap, or any other issue that plagued us in the before times. But instead I want to point out that in 'going back to normal' we are letting the same narratives in the news of 'humans vs. humans' play out, and it is in all honesty upsetting to see. I wish that from lockdowns that we would see more empathy being extended in all areas of this world. I believe that if this were the case we would not be seeing corporations price gouge all of us (ala the hyper inflation we have seen this year), or the invasion of Ukraine may not have happened, and so on and so forth.

Anyway, the fun stuff from this year. On the poster above I really condensed what happened this year with the Oscar slap, the Morbin sweep and Wordle. I did want to add more things such as Elden Ring, Top Gun Maveric, Pokemon Legends Arceus (or Scarlet and Violet) and other pieces of pop culture that were big this year. The main reason I did not was because I was running out of time to put this together as it is.

I would of also made some mention to those who have passed on this year, such as Bob Saget, Pele, Kevin Conroy, and others. But there did not seem to be a way to tastefully implement that when I wanted The Slap to be the main focus of this poster.

I have been going on for a while now. I hope next year is more hopeful and brighter and that more meaningful steps are taken in executive/ leadership levels to help humanity get to the a more optimistic state for the future. Happy new year to you all.

RICK AND MORTY THE WHIRLY DIRLY CONSPIRACY REVIEW

Season 3 Episode 5: On this episode of Rick and Morty, we get a Rick and Jerry adventure, and we also get a side story with Summer feeling insecure. So spoilers ahead for the episode, let's recap. The episode starts off with Rick dragging Jerry out of his single apartment to go on an adventure. Rick tells him that Morty told him to do so out of guilt. On the adventure, they go to a fancy alien truck stop where everyone is immortal within a barrier. At the stop, Jerry is approached by an alien, Risotto, to get Rick to ride a rollercoaster, the Whirly Dirly, where there is a point where the immortality barrier ends thus a hitman can take out Rick. Jerry accepts to do so after as he still sees Rick as the point as to where he and Beth got separated. On the Whirly Dirly Rollercoaster, Rick decides to apologize to Jerry for what has happened to him. RIVERDALE "THE TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN" REVIEW

Chapter 17: Hey, everyone, we are back with a brand new review of Riverdale season two episode 4. So spoilers ahead for the episode if you haven't seen it let's recap. The episode opens up with Jughead who is at the library and gets some books to try to research the Black Hood. Meanwhile, Jughead is out practicing with his new gun that he acquired from Dilton Doily. At the Lodge household, Hermione at Hiram are mad at Veronica because of the video that Archie put out threatening to the black hood. Meanwhile, at the Cooper parents are mad at Betty is she helped Polly run away from home. Alice is especially mad as he is worried about her children.  Fred is also mad at Archie for threatening the Black Hood. ADVENTURE TIME "SEVENTEEN" REVIEW

Season 10 Episode 5: Hey, everyone, we are back with brand new episodes of Adventures, the old reviews I accidentally deleted, but now we are starting over with new reviews, starting with this episode "Seventeen" where we see Finn Mertens turn 17, so spoilers ahead for the episode, let's recap.  In the episode, Finn is at his birthday party in the Candy Kingdom. A green knight comes to the party and gives Finn an ax to kill the green knight. Thinking it is one of Jake's pranks, Finn strikes down the knight, however, Jake comes to the party and it is revealed that the knight was not a prank. The green knight gets up and creates a forcefield around himself. Finn then challenges the green knight to a fight and then brings Finn into the forcefield. SUPERGIRL 'GIRL OF STEEL' REVIEW

Season 3 Episode 1: Supergirl season 3 premiered with a bunch of new stories waiting to be told. So spoilers ahead for the premiere of season 3 of Supergirl, and also if you haven't seen the finale of Season 2, you should probably watch that, as well. But let's recap. The episode opens with a dream sequence. Kara is in a grass field with Mon. Kara sees her mother in the field. Suprised to see her, Kara gives her mother a hug. Kara then wakes up and finds herself suited up as Supergirl hovering above National City. She hears that there is a truck chase happening, which Alex and Maggie are involved in. Kara goes to help the police on their mission. Supergirl lands on the roof of a truck which the police are chasing. She stops a criminal from firing a machine gun at the police and throws him aside.
