JOAQUIN PHOENIX JOKER
It was announced several months ago that there would be yet another Joker related film which would star Joaquin Phoenix and would be directed by Todd Phillips. I had no idea that this film started shooting, but it has, and here we are with images of Phoenix as the crowned prince of crime in Gotham, or well before he becomes the crazed villain that we all know. The image above is showcasing Phoenix as the Joker, or what Philips said "Arthur" which appears to be the name of the Joker, the regular man who hasn't fallen into eternal insanity. In the images, Arthur is wearing a green jacket. The color is muted, however, is an important color for the Joker as of course green is the color of his hair. The image probably didn't have purple clothing because they didn't want to be on the nose with what Arthur is going to devolve into.
