AVENGERS 4 CONCEPT ART BREAKDOWN

Image
Today on the internet some Avengers 4 concept art was leaked thanks to HeroX , showing off our new team, including the new characters for the next film, costume upgrades, and potential story beats that this teases. This art I would confidently speculate is not a fake, because there is way too much detail and effort in this for it to be a fake. Spoilers for Avengers Infinity War, and possibly Ant-Man and the Wasp. So below is the artwork, and it shows off the team from left to right we have Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Nebula (Karen Gillian), Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Rocket Racoon (Bradley Cooper), Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Captain America (Chris Evans), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), War Machine (Don Cheadle), and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd). So to start off, I want to talk about Captain Marvel, one of the new characters in the Avengers team who we see her costume for the first time in their original colors. With the cos...

BUMBLEBEE TRAILER BREAKDOWN

Image
Hey everyone, we have the trailer for the first Transformers spin-off, centering around my favorite Transformer, Bumblebee, in the prime time for Transformers, in 80's, and John Cena's in this film, so there is a lot to look forward to in this film, as I dive into the synopsis, what may be happening in the film, and the coolest parts of the trailer. So let's get started. The synopsis of the film reads: " On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie, on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken." With the film taking place in 1987, we seem to be getting an E.T, Stranger things type of story which I love. In this film, we will see Charlie Watson (Hailee Steinfeld) find Bumblebee. With the character turning 18, she seems to be getting her first car, from the junkyard and she finds the yellow VW that is Bumblebee. This i...

RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET TRAILER BREAKDOWN

Image
Hey everyone, we are back with a brand new trailer for Wreck it Ralph 2, titled "Ralph Breaks the Internet", six years after the first film. This trailer shows off a little more of the film, the shameless plugs, and there was also a synopsis revealed which changes the view of the film. So let's go through the synopsis, and then the trailer from there. The synopsis states:  " Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2  leaves Litwak's video arcade behind, venturing into the uncharted, expansive and thrilling world of the internet - which may or may not survive Ralph's wrecking. Video game bad guy Ralph (John C. Riley) and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) must risk it all by traveling to the world wide web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope's video game, Sugar Rush. In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizen of the internet - the netizens - to help navigate their way, including a website ent...

WONDER WOMAN 2 SET IN 1984

Image
An image was released by Geoff Johns on Twitter revealing a banner for Wonder Woman 2, as seen above. The image has "WW84" with the letters obviously standing for Gal Gadot herself, as  Wonder Woman, and the 84 teasing the year that the film is going to take place, 1984. The film was rumored to take place in the 1980's, but this confirms the time period of the film, which teases what might happen in the film, so let's go through that. The first film focuses in World War I, having the films set in World Word II, seems like it would be another version of the first film, just being more horrific, so it makes sense that the sequel is not set in the 40's. In 1984, or the 1980's in general, there was one major global threat, and that was the Cold War, well that extended through 40 years, with the US, and USSR had their differences in their political views, and yeah, hydrogen bombs. In Wonder Woman 2, it seems like Diana Prince will being the one stelling do...

POKEMON "LET'S GO" TRAILER BREAKDOWN

Image
The new Pokemon Games for the Nintendo Switch have been announced, and the rumors are true, the two new games are titled "Let's Go Pikachu" and "Let's Go Eevee", however with the new trailer, we see a brand new Kanto remake which looks brilliant with brand new features, a slightly different art style, and some exciting integrations. So let's go ahead and take a look at the trailer. So with the Let's Go games, we see that the game seems to fall in line with Pokemon Yellow a little more with Pikachu being a protagonist. However, in these games, Pikachu or Eevee will be the starter, depending on what version of the game you get. In the trailer, we see the nato region professor, Professor Willow back. He seems the base as he was 25 years ago. I am not too sure how he will be weaved into the narrative of the game, like if his grandson is going to be Blue, the antagonist or if that is going to be changed. In the background of the shot, there ar...

ANT-MAN AND THE WASP "UNLEASHED" TV SPOT BREAKDOWN

Image
Hey everyone, we are back with some brand new footage from Ant-Man and the Wasp, which, with after Infinity War is released, raises some questions, which tie to the film. So some spoilers ahead for Infinity War, let's break down this footage. The first shot of the trailer has a voice over of Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) saying "We unleashed something powerful.", referring to the main villain of the film, Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen). This shot above of Hope and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), who are looking a little surprised. I am assuming this is when the two discover that Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) is still alive, which is one of the main plots of the film, which has not been revealed in the trailer. This shot seems to be towards the end of the film, where the Ghosts' powers are playing up. In the explosion, there is a hint of blue which seems like something with the fabric of space is playing up due to the Ghosts' power use. Another possible t...

SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY REVIEW

Image
Although it has had production issues, Solo: A Star Wars Story is a surprisingly alright film for what it could have been. Yes, it is time for a new Star Wars spin-off, and this time, we are here with the film which no one asked for, but yet, it exists, Solo. This is a non-spoiler review of the film, so don't worry, no big twist or plot points are mentioned. So to start off, this film is fine "Everything's fine", a line which was used in the trailer which describes this film incredibly well. With Phil Lord and Chris Miller leaving the project after filming the majority of the film, Ron Howard was amazing at pulling this film from out of the dumpster fire, as he reshot most of the film. There were a couple times where you could see the differences in the two directing visions, however, it was all strung together in a presentable manner. Solo has many plot points which it dives deep into. There are a few useless and extremely weird concepts which attempt to expla...
