RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET TRAILER BREAKDOWN

Hey everyone, we are back with a brand new trailer for Wreck it Ralph 2, titled "Ralph Breaks the Internet", six years after the first film. This trailer shows off a little more of the film, the shameless plugs, and there was also a synopsis revealed which changes the view of the film. So let's go through the synopsis, and then the trailer from there.

The synopsis states: "Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 leaves Litwak's video arcade behind, venturing into the uncharted, expansive and thrilling world of the internet - which may or may not survive Ralph's wrecking. Video game bad guy Ralph (John C. Riley) and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) must risk it all by traveling to the world wide web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope's video game, Sugar Rush. In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizen of the internet - the netizens - to help navigate their way, including a website entrepreneur named Yesss, who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site "BuzzTube.""

So from that, we get a closer look as to what is going on in the trailer, and some of the story element.

So to start off, the characters, Ralph and Vanelope are going to the internet because the owner of the arcade installed it to get a part to repair Vanaliopies game, "Sugar Rush". It seems like the video game characters are going to the internet for entertainment. It seems like that they themselves will not be getting any parts of the internet to repair the game because they're not real people, there is a video game.

In the film, it appears that Ralph and Vanellope will go into the internet for the fun of it. There are a bunch of references here in this internet landscape. There are big corporations seen here such as Google, Facebook, and Amazon, and there are a bunch of other shoutouts such as MySpace.
Of course, there is a search engine joke in here. I am guessing that Disney did not want to pick any favorites for this search engine joke, so there was no Google or Bing, thus generic search engine it is.

Taken to a website, Vanelope and Ralph find themselves on the Disney website which is modeled after Disney land, with Cinderella's castle taking center stage. In this area, there is a muppets part, a Star Wars part, Pixar, and of course a Marvel part which has an iron man glove and Captain America's shield sticking out of it. But in this land all of Disney's characters and properties are alive. In this shot here we see the house from Up, Baymax's suit from Big Hero Six, Eve is seen from Walle, there are some Toy Story memorabilia, R2D2 is there, as well as Dumbo. We also see Iron Man fly by, and also some Stormtroopers confront Vanelope, and also Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh.

Vanellope manages to sneak her way through and glitch through to this Disney Princess meeting. I absolutely love the reaction of Cinderella here, smashes her glass slipper to make a blade. This is an extended scene from what was seen at D23 last year. But this scene is capitalizing on the Disney properties, with the Princess asking her all the stuff they went to. I think nearly most of the Disney princess is in here. But in the scene, there is Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora Ariel, Bella, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Rapunzel, Tiana, Merida, Anna, Elsa, and Moana. Nearly all of the Princess are voiced by their original voice actors, that is except for the older ones whose original voice actors have passed away, but all the newer princesses have their original actresses back to voice them.
But I do like Vanellope's line at the end there, "Should I call the police?"

The last shot of the trailer is of Ralph and Vanellope questioning the title of the film to this new character called "Yesss", voiced by Taraji P. Henson. Looking at the character it appears that this character is the leader of the Buzztube site, and I wouldn't be too surprised if the character turns out to be a type of antagonist for the characters in the film, sort of like how Turbo was the villain of the last film, who first posed as a friend, in the form of King Candy.

Anyway, this is just a small break down of the film and my thoughts on the trailer. There was some story given in the synopsis, and that does give a little light to what is happening in the film, however, there is a lot of mystery left surrounding some of these great scenes.
