CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS CROSSOVER BREAKDOWN

Image
The DC Comics story "Crisis On Infinite Earths" is one of the greatest stories ever told in comics, as it involves an infinite amount of characters from around the multiverse, a high range of stakes for the heroes to win, a grand villain, a series of deaths from famous heroes, and of course it all acted as more or less of a reset button on the DC Comics continuity in a fashion. So at the end of the Elseworlds crossover, we got the teaser that next year in 2019 we would see the Crisis on Infinite Earth's storyline be adapted in the DCTV universe. Well first, I want to discuss the original plans I thought would happen with the inevitable Crisis crossover, and what it will turn out to be. So let's get started with my original thoughts back in the earlier seasons of the Flash and DCTV universe. Well, one of the biggest events in Crisis in the comics is that Barry Allen runs so fast to save the multiverse from the anti-monitor which he sacrifices himself to save e...

THE FLASH SEASON 5 TRAILER BREAKDOWN

Image
The trailer for the Flash season five came out in the DCTV pannel at Sand Diego Comic Con, and there was a lot of news regarding the season, with the trailer, episode 100, and the crossover. The trailer has a lot of scenes from the first few episodes of the season and shows off what we can see from Barry, Nora, and the team. So let's get on with the breakdown of the trailer. The trailer opens up with the recap of season four, with the Nora (Jessica Kennedy Parker) scene, where Barry (Grant Gustin) sees Nora saving the satellite with him, and her coming to the team Flash party in the West house, where she introduces herself. I do love Cisco's (Carlos Valdes) reaction "Does anybody need a refill?" But in the trailer, we learn that Nora needs the team's help for a number of reasons, as there was more than one mistake which she made. I will speculate on those later on.  It was revealed that Nora is from thirty years in the future, so from 2048. In that time pe...

Being announced to be a part of the crossover, the CW also announced that a new hero is getting their own show, and that is Batwoman. That is right there is a live action Batwoman tv show which is being developed by Greg Berlanti for the CW is a spin-off from her debut in this year's annual crossover, which I have some news on. Let's discuss all that and more about the Batwoman tv show coming. To start off, there was some news on who would help bring this series to life. We, of course, have the mastermind of the DCTV universe, Greg Berlanti who is developing the series. Caroline Dries, who worked on the Vampire Diaries, is going to be an executive producer and more importantly and writer on the show. Other executive producers include Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns, who is working everywhere in the DC mediums. Batwoman in the comics is Kate Kane, who has had a number of origins, like every comic book character. Kane inspired from the Bat himself, suits up as the Batwo...
