AVENGERS INFINITY WAR "BLACK WIDOW" DISCUSSION

Hey everyone, we are here with another Infinity War character discussion, and this time we are talking about the former Russian Spy played by the amazing Scarlett Johanson, Natasha Romanoff, AKA, Black Widow. We will be discussing Black Widow's role in the film and how she will factor into Avengers 4. Spoilers ahead for Infinity War.

With members of the Black Order attempting to take the stone from Vision, Black Widow, Captain America, and Falcon show up to save their android friend and Scarlet Witch. With a call from Bruce the Secret Avengers ahead back to their New York base where they gear up for Wakanda, to have the Mind Stine removed from Visions head.
With Thanos' forces incoming the Avengers along with the forces of Wakanda gear up to fend them off. With the help of Okoye and Scarlet Witch, Black Widow kills Proxima Midnight. With the Avengers regrouped in a forest with Rocket and Groot, Thanos arrives with a five stoned gauntlet. The Avenger fight off Thanos but fail, as he gets the last stone from Vision. Thanos snaps his fingers and half the universe ceases the exists. As Avenged turns to dust, Black Widow does not as she stands by her phase one Avenger friends around Vision's corpse, having failed to save the universe.

So to start off, we saw Black Widow in a very different place than we last saw we. After Civil War, Black Widow was deemed a criminal, so she went into hiding. In Infinity War we see Natasha in a different suit, which suits her style while she was in hiding. With a black leather suit as the base of the suit as always, we see Natasha sport a new green vest on top of her old costume.
The most notable change of Romanoff's costume is her hair. Going from the fiery red hair, to the blonde, this was a major change to the characters looks. At first, I wasn't a fan of the blonde hair, however in the film, she looked good with the new hair color.

In the film, Natasha didn't get much of a scene with Bruce Banner as we thought. In the trailers, it seemed like the two were going to have a scene where they were going to reunite with them discussing where they have been. It has been sort of said that Natasha moved on, however it seems like in Avengers 4, we will see her get a scene alone with Bruce.

Speaking of Avengers 4, let's talk about how Black Widow will fit into that film. With Natasha, the original Avengers, Ant-Man, and the Wasp, along with Ricket alive. The remaining heroes will need the help of Captain Marvel to defeat Thanos. However, before that, the team will need to hear up. For Black Widow that mostly means her getting a new Black leather suit like he usually wears. This one will potentially have Vibranium upgrades thanks to Shuri (if she's still alive). Natasha will also most likely get her orange hair back.
With her new suit, Black Widow will go with the rest of her team to fight Thanos. To be honest it is possible that she dies in this fight. However, I do believe that someone in the team will time travel, in order to stop Thanos. With this time travel, we will most likely see Black Widow in the past, in her 2012 original Avengers unit. In Avengers 4, I definitely do not see Natasha biting the dust.

In conclusion, Scarlett Johansson was amazing in the film as Black Widow. From the drama to the action, she was amazing, and my only complaint is that she didn't get enough screen time. However, that seems like where Avengers 4 will come in, where the agent will reunite with some of her old Avenger friends, and get more screen time.
