AVENGERS 'WHAT IF?' ANIMATED SERIES

Image
The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has told one single coherent narrative of the 'Infinity Saga' for the past decade in twenty-two films, and now, like the comics, we are going to be seeing alternate stories from the MCU, like the "what if" comics in an animated series coming to the Disney Plus series. The series as it is named will not be canon with the events of the MCU, however, the series is going to tell their own alternate timeline of events based off the MCU. With this being heavily tied to most likely the current Avengers roster and alternate paths Earth's mightiest heroes, the series will be overseen by the man himself, Kevin Feige, in addition to Marvel Studios itself, like the rest of these Disney Plus shows. What gets me excited about these animated adventures is the crazy ideas and alternative events we will see from this series, and I am guessing that these stories are not going to be too subtle like changing minor nitpicks about the films, s...

AVENGERS ENDGAME TRAILER BREAKDOWN

Image
Okay, it is finally here, the trailer for Avengers 4, which has been revealed to be “Avengers: Endgame” which I will get into at the end as this trailer offers a series of other things which hint at what is happening in the film such as returning characters, Thanos farming, depressed and shaven Avengers, and a new release date. So let’s get into the trailer breakdown. The trailer opens up with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) on the ship that the Guardians of the Galaxy used to get to Titan, the “Benatar”, with Nebula (Karen Gillan) to get back to Earth. In this specific scene, we see Tony recording his last message in his nearly destroyed Mark 50 helmet to Pepper as resources are running low. (Even with 5/7th of the Guardians gone, there still aren’t enough resources for two) One thing which stands out in this shot is that Tony looks like what he looked in the cave in the first Iron Man, with the black tank top and the flat hair, a neat parallel to point out from this fil...

LOKI AND SCARLET WITCH TV SERIES ANNOUNCED

Image
It has been reported that on the Disney streaming service, there will be two exclusive live action shows featuring Loki in one show, and Scarlet Witch in the other show, being leads, and reportdely connecting with the Marvel Cinematic Universe having Tom Hiddleston reprise his role as the God of mischief and Elizabeth Olsen as the first mutant in the MCU. This news is huge so I will go over what both shows could look like, and what else this means for Marvel television, and other Marvel characters. The Loki show is something which surprises me as a show which would be made. The character is apparently dead in the universe since Thanos snapped his neck. That means that with a Loki tv show, it would mean that the show takes place before Infinity War, possibly before the first Thor film, or somewhere else in the timeline. The other possibility is that Loki is resurrected in Avengers 4 and a television series follows him in the present tense. A Loki series will be interesting and wi...

CAPTAIN MARVEL FIRST LOOK BREAKDOWN

Image
Yesterday it was teased by Brie Larson that new Captain Marvel images were going to be released, and here we are, with our first official  look at Marvel's latest hero on the cover of Entertainment Weekly and we also have ten other images from the set of the film where we see returning characters, and new characters and races in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so let's break it down. But let's start with the cover. In the center is Carol Danvers A.K.A Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) in her comic accurate suit which has the red blue and gold. The suit is based off the suit she used when she got the "Captain" title and moved away from the "Ms. Marvel" title, as in that time the character had a series of different suits, some of which we might see in the film. One of the main changes of the suit is the sash. In the comics, the suit had a sash which was on the left side of the suit. In this image, the suit has a belt instead. This was rumored a couple of ...

LOKI IN AVENGERS 4

Image
In Avengers Infinity War, Tom Hiddleston reprised his role as the god of mischief for the fifth time before facing his impending doom five minutes into the film. There have been many theories about whether or not Loki is still floating around in the MCU, either literally in the vacuum of space, or if Loki somehow survives Thanos' beating. So let's go through on what could be going on with Loki in Avengers 4, after Infinity War. After Avengers 4 there were two main theories which held some weight with Loki being alive. These were: -Loki replaced Bruce Banner in disguise This first theory, well that was debunked. It wouldn't make any sense with Loki being Bruce Banner as we saw the Hulk come out a few times before refusing to fight, and Bruce still had his connections with his fellow Avengers, and then the question would arise what happened to Bruce. -Loki used a projection to fake his death The next one is interesting, as it would have required Loki to increase h...

AVENGERS 4 CONCEPT ART BREAKDOWN

Image
Today on the internet some Avengers 4 concept art was leaked thanks to HeroX , showing off our new team, including the new characters for the next film, costume upgrades, and potential story beats that this teases. This art I would confidently speculate is not a fake, because there is way too much detail and effort in this for it to be a fake. Spoilers for Avengers Infinity War, and possibly Ant-Man and the Wasp. So below is the artwork, and it shows off the team from left to right we have Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Nebula (Karen Gillian), Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Rocket Racoon (Bradley Cooper), Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Captain America (Chris Evans), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), War Machine (Don Cheadle), and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd). So to start off, I want to talk about Captain Marvel, one of the new characters in the Avengers team who we see her costume for the first time in their original colors. With the cos...

Season 5 Episode 22: It has been a very long time since the last Agents of SHIELD review, but I caught up. I finally caught up and we are here with the Agents of SHIELD Season five finale, directed by Jed Whedon, as we see everything escalate as the team tries to fix the future timeline. So spoilers ahead for the episode and Infinity War let's recap. Wanting to stop all threats including Thanos, General Talbot becomes Graviton, as he becomes power hungry to gain more Gravitonium. Capturing Robin and her mother, Talbot gets a location on where more Gravatonium is, so he takes his alien spaceship to Chicago. Meanwhile, the team argues what to do with their last of the Centipede serum, stop Talbot, thus the future or save Coulson. The team makes the decision to save Coulson, hoping to break their time loop. The agents reconcile as they go to Chicago to stop Talbot, and save the people.
