JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM FINAL TRAILER BREAKDOWN

The final trailer for "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" is out and this trailer not only shows off some spectacular shots and practical effects, however, provides a deeper dive into the story of the film, and the characters of the film, all of which I will discuss.

To start off, the first part of the film is being sold as a rescue operation, Jurassic Park 2 style. In this case, Owen (Chris Pratt), has to save Blue, the Raptor from the island which has a volcano about to erupt. With this "Lost World" type plot, the film seems it might divert from that in the way that it has formed a relationship between a human and dinosaur.

However, like The Lost World, there is an organization involved with this rescue operation. This organization seems to be the one that wanted to militarize dinosaurs in Jurassic World. In this film, they appear to have Doctor Wu (BD Wong) working with them, as he was sort of developing new code for them in the last film. With the help of Doctor Wu, this company has a new breed of dinosaur, which looks more Raptor mixed with Indominous Rex. Anyway, this dino hybrid seems like it will be the main dinosaur for sale.

Here is Owen, in a house, which looks more like a mansion. This appears to be where the third act of the film takes place, in this mansion, which I speculate to be owned by the late John Hammond. In this third act, we will have a kid, named Maisie Lockwood (Isabella Sermon), who is the granddaughter of Benjamin Lockwood (James Cromwell). I do not have any clue as to how those characters directly relate the plot a part of them being in the third act of the film. In this third act, we will also see Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) back, who seems to be more adventurous in this film compared to the last. In this third act, we will see Blue in the mansion, most likely working with the heroes.

In the trailer, we also see the return of Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) in the film series, as he appears to be testifying against the experimentation and creation of dinosaurs, as he fears that they will outlive humans. In the film, it appears that this will be the majority of the character's story, and he will most likely not meet up with our main heroes such as Owen and Claire. However, I am very excited about the character's return.

In conclusion, this trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom does get me excited for the film, as we get to see the evolution in the story, and the threads teased in the 2015 predecessor pan out in this film, as we see how the characters react to this scenario going on. I would like to hear your thoughts on the trailer down in the comments below. As always thanks for reading, take care.
