LEGENDS OF TOMORROW DOOMWORLD REVIEW
Season 2 Episode 16:
In this episode of Legends of tomorrow we are now in the doom world, the reality that the legion of doom created, there are so many things different, spoilers ahead for the episode, let's recap.
In the episode we are in the doom world, we find Sarah and Amaya are in black leather costumes and they are hunting down a vigilante, it's not any vigilante, it's Felicity.They bring her into the Mayor's office, and we find out that Damien Darhk is mayor of Star City.Felicity gets murdered and Damien says's that "she will make a nice one to my collection." we cut over to a glass case of the masks of Green Arrow, Spartan, Black Canary, the Flash, vigilante, and the new recruits.
In Central City we find Eobard owns Star labs, he has the Black Flash in a glass case, and Martin is working for him, and Martin's superior is Jefferson and he is short ended with him, and Ray is a janitor.Malcolm comes to visit Eobard and he asks him if he can use the spear to change a couple things, Eobard tells Malcolm that he hs everything he needs, his family, money.
With Captain Cold and heatwave, they are robbing a bank, however, the police let them go as they own Central City, Mick finds this boring.
The legion of doom has a meeting in Star Labs.Nate comes in and he tells Eobard that there is something not right with reality, that there are scars.Eobard gets Captain Cold and Heatwave to take Nate to the river and kill him.Mick saves Nate and the two go and save Ray, who has a gun that he created from memory which can restore the memory of people before reality was rewritten.
Sarah and Amaya show up to take down the three and the team manages to get Sarah back.The four goi to Nate's mom's basement for a base.Sarah tries to get Amaya back, but after Damien mentions the death of laurel Sarah snaps, but she eventually gets back Amaya and Jefferson.Jefferson tells the team that Martin was building a device that could destroy the spare of Destiny.The legends decide to go stop Eobard before they are stuck in this reality.Tthe team leaves and they tell Mick to stay behind
Damien, Malcolm, and Captain Cold are having a discussion that Reverse Flash is going to get rid of them.Mick comes in and tells the Legends plans to the villains.The villains decide that they have to take the spare when Eobard is distracted by the Legends.
Jefferson sneaks into Star labs and tries to bring back martin, however, Martin slaps the gun out of Jefferson's hand.The legends come in to help but reverse Flash shows up with the spare of destiny and takes them all down.The legion of doom shows up and now it's a full out war.The reverse Flash gets knocked down, the legends are fighting the legion of doom and Star Labs security.Mick manages to get the spare of destiny, Captin cold asks for it, but Mick gives the spare to Amaya, and Captain Cold kills her with his freeze gun and shatters her! Eobard steals the spear and disintegrates it with the new machine Martin built.
The Legends flee the scene, and they are all depressed Amaya is gone, the decide that the only way to get back the real reality is through time travel.
In the episode, Rip was in the waverider making cakes as he has nothing else to do thinking the legends are dead, lost, or will not know who he is.So he decides that he will save the legends.We zoom out of the waverider, only to find that it is small and is a model on Eobard's desk at Star Labs.
My favorite scene in the episode was the ending, the legends are going to go back to World War One, and stop the legion from obtaining the spare, and they will use the spare.It is going to be insane.But I am super sad that Amaya died, I know she will be brought back but she is by far my favorite character on the show.
I liked Dominic Purcell as Mick in the episode.I see why the Legends don't trust him, he betrayed them twice, but it seems like he does care about the legends.The legion of Doom was awesome in the episode, they had the base like from the cartoon, and it was great seeing them interact.
Overall this episode of Legends was a solid one, the acting was great, we got to see what the world would be like if the world was run by villains, all the heroes would be dead.I did kind of want the Felicity vigilante to help the legends in the episode.But I will give this episode an 8 out of 10.Comment below your thoughts on the episode.As always thanks for reading, take care.
