Although it has had production issues, Solo: A Star Wars Story is a surprisingly alright film for what it could have been. Yes, it is time for a new Star Wars spin-off, and this time, we are here with the film which no one asked for, but yet, it exists, Solo. This is a non-spoiler review of the film, so don't worry, no big twist or plot points are mentioned. So to start off, this film is fine "Everything's fine", a line which was used in the trailer which describes this film incredibly well. With Phil Lord and Chris Miller leaving the project after filming the majority of the film, Ron Howard was amazing at pulling this film from out of the dumpster fire, as he reshot most of the film. There were a couple times where you could see the differences in the two directing visions, however, it was all strung together in a presentable manner. With Solo: A Star Wars Story upon us, it has been announced that Han's greatest enemy (behind his son), Boba Fett, is going to get a spin-off film, directed by James Mangold. The news broke today from the Hollywood Reporter who said that Mangold is going to write and direct the film, which is not the last of the spin-off films, which we will see. So, this is awesome news, which raises plenty of questions, so let's get into this. To start off, I am pretty confident that this film will take place after Return of the Jedi, or while that film is going on. Most people have speculated that Boba Fett got out of the Sarlacc Pitt from the Jabba palace attack. So it seems like this would be confirmed with most likely the film starting off with Fett flying out of the pit. There are many ways where this film could go. I could focus on Boba Fett going on a side mission, all the while the Empire is being shattered, or it could show Boba Fett potentially trying to stop the Rebels or even...

The official trailer for the solo Han Solo film has come out, along with a few more scenes from the film, as we get a closer look at the characters, new and returning, as well as the plot of the film as the release date of the film approaches to be at the end of next month. So about six weeks away. Anyway, let's get into the breakdown of this trailer. The trailer opens up on this planet that I am assuming is Corellia, the home planet of Han Solo. It may not be, but that is the best guess. In this shot there are two Star Destroyers in the sky, both looking incomplete, with panels missing. This is the what is considered the early stages of the Empire. With the film taking place about a decade before A New Hope, the Empire is only nine years old at this point, which explains this incomplete star destroyer. Hey everyone, we were promised yesterday at the Superbowl that we would see the official full trailer for the Han Solo film, and today, it was delivered. This trailer had some new shots, which I will break down, but most of this is the same footage as the teaser trailer, which I will link at the end. I will also show off some of the new posters. But now, let's get on with the breakdown. In the trailer, we start off with a new scene of Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) and Qi'ra (Emilia Clarke) in a ground type vehicle driving past some imperial vehicles. It seems like this is the start of Han disconnecting and being more of an enemy to the Empire. This does not seem to connect to the Empire registration we saw in the last trailer. Today is Superbowl Sunday and that means, a whole heap of trailers to break down. Here we have the teaser trailer for the Han Solo film, and this trailer shows off some stuff worth breaking down, as we see how the story might flow. So let's get right into it. The trailer opens up in what appears to be an Empire job application day, where the Empire recruits people from across the galaxy. This can kind of be seen by the mix of Imperial members, and regular aliens. The line that says "You want to make a difference?" is the type of line used for military recruitment. If I had to guess who is applying to be in the Empire, it is most likely Han Solo himself, with the film being based around him, and we will get into what he does at the end. We get this super menacing shot of an Imperial Star Destroyer coming flying in some lightning. Coming out is some Tie fighters, and also a duel tie fighter. This could potentially have Han Solo piloting one of these in the film....
