"SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME" BREAKDOWN
Far From Home is prepared to kick off Phase four of the MCU and is set for release in 2019. The film is confirmed to be set after Avengers 4, like only a couple days after the film. So as we all knew, all the crazy stuff that happened in Infinity War will be resolved in Avengers 4. There are a few rumors regarding Avengers 4 which discuss how Peter will be affected, but I won't get into that. All we know what will happen to Spiderman in Avengers 4 is that he will be brought back to life like the other half of the universe who were turned to dust.
The title does explain some stuff which was confirmed before. The Far From Home is referring to how Peter and his school friends go on an overseas trip. If I had to assume, Peter would most likely be going overseas for an academic competition, like what happened when Peter went to DC for a competition in Homecoming. So from this w,e can confirm that mostly everyone from the academic competition club is running including Ned, MJ, and Flash. The reason for Peter going overseas may be different from what I speculated, however, the main cast we saw in the last film will most likely be in the sequel, on holiday with Peter.
A character who is rumored to be introduced in the film is Black Cat. The character does have some ties to some places overseas, in particular, Europe. And guess where Far From Home has been filming, that's right in Europe. So it is something to speculate that Black Cat will show up in Far From Home when Peter goes on his overseas trip.
The way that the character will interact with the story is unknown, and also if this Black Cat will be the same as the Black Cat in the announced Black and Silver film by Sony. I feel like Sony is holding back on doing anything with their larger spider-verse apart from making plans until they see how Venom does, and whether or not they should add to the MCU.
It is rumored that Mysterio is going to be the main villain of Far From Home and that Jake Gyllenhaal is going to play him. The character is an awesome Spiderman villain who hasn't been adapted to any Spiderman film before, and that is what Marvel and Sony are trying to do, adapt the villains who haven't been done before.
Fun Fact, there were concepts for a fourth Spiderman film in the Sam Rami series where Mysterio was the villain.
Mysterio is a villain who is a part of the Sinister Six, and that is what the third Spiderman Home film is building to. So Mysterio in Spiderman Far From Home, adds to that Sinister Six roster. Another villain might show up in Far From Home to add to the team, like how Shocker and Scorpion showed up in Homecoming.
Anyway, Spiderman Far From Home is an exciting title for the next Spiderman film, the first part of phase four. The way that the film picks up, minutes after Avengers four is going to be interesting as we can see Peter's reaction to whatever happens in Avengers 4, and how that impacts him.
