SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE TRAILER BREAKDOWN

Hey everyone, today was the panel for Nintendo at E3 where a bunch of stuff was shown off. At the convention, some games were available to play such as Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee. However the main trailer that was shown off was the new Smash Bros port which was teased earlier this year, which is now titled "Super Smash Bros: Ultimate" where everyone, I mean everyone that has ever been playable in a Smash game before will be a playable character in full release in this game, as well as a couple new characters. Above is the video hosted by the director of the game, Masahiro Sakurai on all the content. Below is the complete list of characters in order in the upcoming game.

Yes, that is right, Ridley is coming to Smash, and he looks awesome. In the trailer we see Mario, and Link gets taken out by Ridley, as he goes to face off against Samus. I am excited to see how the Metroid villain is incorporated into the game.

There was a bunch of stuff also revealed, sadly new Donk City from Mario Odyssey was not revealed as an arena in the game which is a shame as that was something which I was excited to see. However, there are a few Breath of the Wild locations used as arenas in the game. 

The other thing is that Waluigi is not a playable character in the main roster, however, he is demoted to an assist trophy, which is better than being completely neglected I guess.

There was a bunch of stuff that was announced in the video above, and it is all really interesting. Overall, I really love this massive line up of characters which includes everyone, except Waluigi. The inclusion of Snake is impressive along with the other third-party characters such as Sonic and Mega Man. I was a little disappointed that the Mario Odyssey costume didn't make it in this game, in particular, cappy is not in here with Mario, I see why they may not have included it, it would be too OP controlling the other players. It almost shows the timeline where this was developed between Breath of the Wild's release early last year, and before Odyssey's release in late last year. But in the game, Mario can wear his wedding suit, seen in Odyssey.

In conclusion, this announcement about Smash Ultimate makes me very excited for what is to come to the game this December.
