INCREDIBLES 2 TRAILER BREAKDOWN

We were promised a new Incredibles 2 trailer in the Olympics, and it was delivered, Yes, we have a brand new Incredibles 2 trailer where we see actual animation from the film and the story is spelled out on the table. So let's get into this breakdown.

The trailer opens up straight after the first Incredibles film, where the Under-Miner (John Ratzenberger) is attacking the city. This definitely takes down the 20-year jump rumor and changes that to a 20-second jump between the films. With the team suiting up it appears that they wear their suits under their regular clothes. But now we know that only Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) and Elastagirl (Holly Hunter) fight the Under-Miner in this scene, while the kids wait to get ice cream, I think it was what they were going to get before the Under-Miner showed up. But it seems like Mr. and Mrs. Incredible will take down the Under-Miner.

Back home, Elastagirl talks about how being a Super is still illegal and outlawed, that will most likely change by the end of the film. Because If I had to guess we will see an Incredibles 3 at some point, and we will potentially see more Supers roaming the Earth. Dash (Huck Milner) is very eager to be a hero, he even quotes Batman from 50 years in the future by saying "It defines who I am" from Batman Begins (2005). It appears that the kids are eager to be Superhero's, I would say even Violet (Sarah Vowell) wants to be a hero because instead, f oppressing her powers to feel normal, she can use them to become something more.

Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson)shows Mr. Incredible and Elastagirl a card about a tycoon who wants to talk about Hero stuff. It seems like this tycoon will be the way that Elastagirl gets into action, and who knows if any other surviving heroes will be recruited. We then see this character who appears to be the face of this tycoon, and the person who is trying to bring back the heroes.

Elastagirl is called to action. I love the idea that she is using the original costume she wore before she was married, the same way that Mr. Incredible wore his blue suit when he was called to action in the first film. Elastagirl does have this motorbike, which is something we never saw in the flashback. It is most likely the equivalent of Mr. Incredibles supercar, which gave him his suit.

Back home, Bob is looking after the kids by himself. I absolutely love these scenes. We first see Bob complaining to Dash about the New Math changes in the 50's and 60's, and then we see Bob falling asleep while reading a book to JackJack. It will be awesome to see Bob go from a hero, to slowing dying behind a desk, back to hero, and now stay at home dad. I am interested to see how the kids react to having Bob as the primary parent

This shot of Elastagirl in the Incredibles gear is possibly from earlier in the film, where she halos take down the Under-Miner. It would be cool that when Elastagirl was called to action she showed up in her Mrs. Incredible suit, but then changed to the old suit.

Elastagirl drives her motorbike in a high way. That first I thought this was a flashback to the 1940's but the characters waving at Elastagirl look more or less like they're from a decade or two later. I am not too sure what Elastagirl's mission will be. I don't think that they will go like the first film and someone who idolized Elastagirl is the villain. But the villain might be tied into the tycoon that hit up Frozone.

Frozone is at the Parr house where he freaks out about JackJack's powers. But looking at Bob, you can see that he is dead inside, and he is over JackJack playing up. If I had to guess, in the film, Mr. Incredible is going to have to train JackJack using his abilities, because he might be the key to saving Elastagirl if she is stuck in a solo mission.

The trailer ends with Edna telling Bob that parenting is a heroic job when done right. What I think happens is that Frozone sees how tired, and worn out Bob is, and he tells him to visit Edna. I would say that Edna is the one who inspires Bob to train JackJack with his powers. And that leads to the final fight of the film. It is possible that Edna upgrades the Parr family's super suits in the film.

In conclusion, this trailer for Incredibles 2 is absolutely awesome. We see the story of the film unfold and it is great to know that Elastagirl is in action this time around, which will be amazing to see. It will also be a great time seeing Bob taking over of the being the only parent while Elastagirl is away. I would like to hear your thoughts on this trailer down in the comments below.
