CRISIS ON EARTH-X CROSSOVER TRAILER BREAKDOWN

Today we finally got our first full-length trailer of the Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, and Legends crossover, Crisis on Earth-X. There was a lot of footage in the two-minute trailer, so let's break it down.

The trailer opens up with a monologue of Barry saying that he got the girl [Iris], and after so many losses, Barry is finally going to get a win and marry Iris. After this, we see Iris, Caitlin, Kara, and Felicity at a nail salon, and then we see Oliver and Barry getting their suits fitted. This will all be happening in the first part of the crossover, the Supergirl episode.

We then get a monologue from Joe thanking Barry and Iris for helping them find love, that being in the form of Cecile.

Now we cut to the wedding where all the major characters are. We have the main cast of the Flash present, including Wally, from Arrow we have Oliver and Felicity, from Supergirl we have Kara and Alex and then from Legends of Tomorrow, we have Sara, Martin, Jax, and Mick. We then see the Nazi's crash the wedding where they bring Overgirl and Gruner Pfeil, but they seem to get defeated relatively easily with all the heroes in the building.

In the fight, we do see Wally in battle, which is probably his first and last fight in the crossover, as we do not see him in any other scenes in the trailer. But hopefully, there are big things happening for the character in the DCTV universe, because Kid Flash cannot be written off that easily.

After the wedding, the heroes meet at STAR Labs where Harry drops some exposition explaining Earth-X and how it is the 53rd Earth. From this we now know that the multiverse is like the new 52 where there are only 52 Earths and not Infinite Earths, which is a shame but is also a good way to get around plot holes like "why can't Barry go to a different Earth where he can get tech to take down the Thinker?"

Here is a good shot of Gruner Pfeil and Overgirl. They seem like they are on Earth 1 as you can tell by the brighter coloring of the buildings. Behind the scenes, pictures show that Earth-X Green Arrow and Supergirl have some sort of relationship.

We then see Kara trapped in Earth-X STAR Labs where Overgirl is telling her about Earth-X and the type of society that it has. This reminds me of Red Sun Superman, they do not see themselves as villains as the Earth they have grown up on has taught them that their actions are the right way when in actual fact they are wrong.

In this shot, it appears that Martin, Jax, Barry, Oliver, Sara, and Alex have been rounded up by the Nazi's on Earth-X, presumably after they attempt to save their friends. An interesting thing here is that Martin is here, meaning that in the next episodes of Legends of Tomorrow, Jax will still need Martin to form into Firestorm, but I am guessing in episode 9, Martin leaves and Jax can be Firestorm by himself.

Here is a quick glimpse of Citizen Cold. The deal with Leonard Snart in this crossover is that this is Captain Cold on Earth-X who is a Freedom Fighter against the Nazi's, and in the crossover, he is helping the heroes of Earth-1 to save their friends who have been captured. But Citizen Cold on Earth-X has been working with Earth-X Winn [from Supergirl], and the Ray.

It appears that the Earth-X villains take over Earth-1 STAR labs as we see an arrow from Gruner Pfeil take down the Atom. This is most likely where Kara and Felicity get captured and taken to Earth-X.

A quick shot of Zari and Vixen with their totems powered on. This is probably connected to the previous shot when the Nazi's take over STAR Labs. But this most likely happens in the middle of the crossover as you can see that Zari does not have her new suit on.

The Nazi's are taking an unconscious Wilddog away. This again is connected to the STAR Labs takeover as this is happening near the Pipeline. The Nazis are possibly invading STAR Labs because some of their leaders such as Gruner Pfeil and Overgirl are being held prisoner in the Earth-1 pipeline.

Cisco and Harry piloting the Waverider, which is a call back to last years crossover where Cisco was co-piloting the Waverider, but this year he gets full control.

Supergirl vs Overgirl, this is happening outside the wedding, which is interesting because we saw Kara take down her Earth-X counterpart in inside.

Black Canary and Mr. Terific fighting Gruner Pfeil, it will be great seeing team Arrow try fight Earth-X Arrow and Prometheus. We know that Josh Segera who played Prometheus is not in the crossover, so someone else is under the hood, it will be interesting to see who, it would be cool if it were Tommy or Malcolm. But one question I do have regarding the Arrow characters in the crossover is where is John? he has been missing in all the trailer, he could possibly retire at the end of Arrow 607, who knows.

Jax collapses on the Waverider, could be a possible psychic warning from Martin who is in danger.

The next shot is interesting, we see Earth-1 Green Arrow fighting some ninjas. I do not have any ideas how this fits into the crossover into anyway.

Here is a clear shot of Gruner Pfeil, Earth-1 Green Arrow. We know that Oliver Queen is still under that hood on Earth-X, and it seems like the Gruner Pfeil was driven to work with the Nazi's on Earth-X possibly because of Earth-X Felicity dying, which was seen in some set images.

Citizen Steel catching Supergirl. This is presumably in the final fight which takes place on Earth-1 as seen by the color. Behind the two on the field is Wilddog, Citizen Cold, and Heatwave.

Also in the final fight, we are going to see Green Arrow vs Gruner Pfeil on a bus. This will be an awesome fight to see how Oliver can fight himself. It will be awesome to see if Oliver can try to talk his Earth-X self to stop being a villain.

Here we see Oliver telling the others that they need to send a message to the Earth-X villains to tell them to leave. The heroes are most likely on the Waverider after the Nazi's invaded STAR Labs.

With a voiceover from Felicity telling what I assume an Earth-X member like the Blitzen Flash, to "get the hell off our Earth!" When then see Oliver lying on top of some rubel and then we see Sara fighting Overgirl.

One of the final shots of the trailer is of nearly all the heroes lined up and ready to fight the Earth-X villains. But from left to right we have, Alex Danvers, Mr. Teriffic, Vixen, Wilddog, White Canary, the Flash, Citizen Steel, Green Arrow, the Atom, Heatwave, Citizen Cold, Zari, and Black Canary. The heroes are most likely going to try to save their captured friends such as Supergirl, Iris, and Felicity.

The trailer ends with Citizen Cold calling Oliver "Ollie", and he starts to form a relationship with Sara. That may be a call back to season one of Legends of Tomorrow where Sara and Leonard started to form a relationship, but in this crossover, it seems like Sara and Alex will get it on. But in this scene, the heroes seem to be infiltrating Earth-X, most likely to find their friends.

Overall this was an action-packed trailer which gets me hyped for the four-way crossover. The crossover starts on Monday the 27th of November with Supergirl, and Arrow directly following it that night. The crossover will then conclude on Tuesday the 28th of November with the Flash followed by Legends of Tomorrow. Anyway, please comment on your thoughts on the trailer or anything I missed.
