The trailer for Tomb Raider is out and this looks like this may be the video game movie that finally works. The trailer shows off Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft going on an adventure with clues left behind by her father. The premise is simple, which is good, and will be easy to follow, and especially easier to make a film on. The trailer shows a lot of awesome set pieces in the film, from the action in the jungle to action in temples. As someone who has not played much of Tomb Raider, this definitely looks like a great adventure film. One of my favorite scenes in the trailer was when Lara ever so slightly dodges the spike trap, using the slow motion, take looks awesome.
Other scenes the trailer that was awesome was the big jumps she did, which looks comical. I love how the film is attempting to be grounded but still knows it is a video game film and that doesn't let that stop them. You can tell that Alicia Vikander worked out to do this film, and she is looking great as Lara Croft.
Anyway, that does it for the trailer. I am excited about this film. There was also a poster released yesterday, I took a look at that, so click on the poster to read that. Season 3 Episode 8: So a new episode of Rick Morty is out, and instead of interdimensional cable 3, we get Morty's mind blowers, a series of funny skits that Rick had to erase from Morty's memory.Since there was a lot, I want to go through every memory, but I will go through the story in the episode and some important memories.So spoilers ahead for the episode, let's recap. With more than half of the Marvel Netflix shows erased from existence, it has been announced that the remaining to shows, The Punisher, and Jessica Jones have ended, as stated in a statement from Netflix. We all saw that these two shows were going to end at one point or another ever since we saw this collapse of these shows coming. Be sure to remember that Jessica Jones still has season three to air on Netflix later this year. I did wish that they would hold off on announcing that Jessica Jones would be canceled until a couple weeks after the last season aired, like the others, but I guess now is a better time than any because I think we all didn't doubt for a second that this last season was going to be the last. Season 4 Episode 15: Hey, everyone, we are back with a brand new episode of the Flash, directed by Gregory Smith. In this episode we see Barry Allen put under a lot of pressure when he has to work with Jesse Quick and Jay Garrick to prevent a nuclear explosion. Spoilers ahead from this episode of the Flash, let's recap. The episode opens up with a stressed out, sweety Barry Allen bringing Iris into flash time telling her that he has run out of options and that there is nothing he can do. "8 minutes, 48 seconds" into the past, we see Barry training to get through Cisco's breaches, however, he is failing to do so. Taking a break, Barry agrees to Iris that he will spend more time with her. One of the most underutilized characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was Pietro Maximoff, A.K.A Quicksilver, played by Aaron Taylor Johnson, who both debuted and died in Avengers Age of Ultron (2015). With Avengers Endgame approaching, and the film promising to wrap up the past 22 films, it is possible that we see Quicksilver return in Endgame, and I have a theory as to how that may happen. The main reason that Quicksilver was killed off in the MCU was that writing for speedsters is simply just too hard. Especially if the speedster is not counted in their powers. If Quicksilver lived in Age of Ultron, we most likely would have seen him in Captain America Civil War, and Avengers Infinity War. In Civil War, for example, Quicksilver would be too overpowered for team Iron Man. If Quicksilver sided with Captain America in the airport battle, he could have rushed every member to the Quinjet, and Zemo would have been captured. Tony wouldn't have stood a chance.
