The trailer for Tomb Raider is out and this looks like this may be the video game movie that finally works. The trailer shows off Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft going on an adventure with clues left behind by her father. The premise is simple, which is good, and will be easy to follow, and especially easier to make a film on. The trailer shows a lot of awesome set pieces in the film, from the action in the jungle to action in temples. As someone who has not played much of Tomb Raider, this definitely looks like a great adventure film. One of my favorite scenes in the trailer was when Lara ever so slightly dodges the spike trap, using the slow motion, take looks awesome.
Other scenes the trailer that was awesome was the big jumps she did, which looks comical. I love how the film is attempting to be grounded but still knows it is a video game film and that doesn't let that stop them. You can tell that Alicia Vikander worked out to do this film, and she is looking great as Lara Croft.
Anyway, that does it for the trailer. I am excited about this film. There was also a poster released yesterday, I took a look at that, so click on the poster to read that. Season 3 Episode 10: The season finale of Rick and Morty is already here, after what seems like a very short time. The episode had a bunch of stuff in it with the return of the President of the US voiced by Keith David. Season 3 Episode 9: Hey, everyone, we are here with a brand new episode of Supergirl, which this episode is the mid-season finale which takes place on Christmas Eve and also introduces the new villain, Reign to our heroes. So spoilers ahead for the episode, let's recap. The episode focuses on the birth of the World Killer, Reign, which has been awoken inside of Sam, however, she has no clue about what happened. In the episode Mon and his wife, Imra attempt to repair their ship to get back to the 30th century which they left from. Later on in the episode, Kara has a Christmas Eve party at her apartment where Kara tells everyone that she is thankful that she had friends to turn to after her tough year. Season 3 Episode 5: On this episode of Rick and Morty, we get a Rick and Jerry adventure, and we also get a side story with Summer feeling insecure. So spoilers ahead for the episode, let's recap. The episode starts off with Rick dragging Jerry out of his single apartment to go on an adventure. Rick tells him that Morty told him to do so out of guilt. On the adventure, they go to a fancy alien truck stop where everyone is immortal within a barrier. At the stop, Jerry is approached by an alien, Risotto, to get Rick to ride a rollercoaster, the Whirly Dirly, where there is a point where the immortality barrier ends thus a hitman can take out Rick. Season 10 Episode 11: Hey everyone, round three of tonight, with a new Adventure Time episode directed by Diana Lafyatis. In this episode we see the story with Jake develop as we also see a new story regarding King Man and Betty on Mars start to develop simultaneously. Spoilers ahead for the episode, let's recap. The episode opens up with Finn coming home to the Treehouse. There sits Jermaine who tells Finn that he is worried about Jake and that he has been having visions of him stranded on a remote planet by himself. Finn takes Jermaine to Magic Man's house where they use the teleporter to get to Mars. On Mars, Finn and Jermaine meet King Man and Betty. Finn tells King Man that Jake is missing, so King Man tells Finn and Jermaine to go with Betty through a cave where they will get a capsule to save Jake.
