MARVEL TV CROSSOVER?
Emmy Magazine has released this photo taken by Kremer Johnson and it is an adaptation of the famous construction worker painting in New York, but here it has (left to right), Charlie Cox (Daredevil), Finn Jones (Iron Fist), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Clarke Gregg (Phil Coulson)Jeph Loeb (head of Marvel television), Chloe Bennet (Daisy Johnson/ Quake), Mike Colter (Luke Cage).
Jeph Loeb runs all the Marvel tv show, from Agents of SHIELD to the Netflix stuff. This image reminds me of the images taken with Greg Berlanti took images with the Flash and Supergirl, shows he produces, shortly after that the two got the crossover back in 2015, that is something that might be happening here.
It seems likely that instead of the characters crossing over into the films, they crossover with each other, I talked about possible crossovers last yeat, but that is outdated. A crossover on the shows would be hard to pull off, as Agents of SHIELD is a cable network, and the Defenders are all on the streaming service, Netflix. So where would it air? ABC or Netflix? I could see a possible crossover with the characters on the ABC, just for an episode. No 4-night crossover would be possible, but the logistics of pulling off stand alone crossovers are there, as it would not have to be mentioned too much again on the show, or no one has to watch a show on a service that they may not have, which is why ABC may be the most suitable place for a crossover, and if you think that Agents of SHIELD can't go R-rated, well they have stepped up their edges over the seasons, with their later time schedulings.
On the Netflix side, I feel like Agents of SHIELD character could cameo in episodes, a lot of people speculated that Coulson would cameo in each of the shows and bring together the Defenders, which is something I could have seen.
But the story of the crossover, if it happens, well it is hard to say. It would most likely be a self-contained story just so it doesn't have to get referenced in every episode of the tv show.
Anyway, I would like to hear your thoughts on any possible Agents of SHIELD or Defenders crossover down in the comments below. I would like to see a tv crossover, it seems more possible for them to crossover than going into the films. As always thanks for reading, take care
