GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 STAR-LORD DISCUSSION

In Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2, the film focused around Peter Quill finding his family but ignoring the fact that he had found his family with the Guardians. So let's discuss Peter Quill in the film, and how he may be in Avengers Infinity War, and the other films going forward, and spoilers for Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2.

In Vol. 2 Peter finds his father, Ego the living planet. He is pleased to find him and believes he has finally found his family. So Peter learns that he is a half celestial, and he has all these crazy powers. But those powers are gone as the source of the power was destroyed. So no powers for Star-lord going into Infinity War, otherwise he ould possibly put up a fight against Thanos.

My favorite scene of Star-lord in the film was probably the realization of Ego being a villain, and how Ego put a tumor in his mother's head, which killed her. Seeing the emotional torment inside of Peter was a great turning point in the character. The turning point where he finds the thing he has been looking for his whole life, but that thing is the opposite of what he expected, and from there he realizes that the thing he was searching for his whole life was right in front of him this whole time, that being a father, Yondu.

In the future of the MCU, we know that Star-lord and the rest of the Guardians will show up in Avengers Infinity War, and Avengers 4, and Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 will be the last time we see this current lineup of the team. In Infinity War, I won't be surprised if Peter will act like the Silver Surfer, he and the rest of the Guardians discover what Thanos is plotting, come to Earth and warn the planet, meet the Avengers, and fight Thanos. I would expect in the Avengers films that Peter is going to have as much of a culture shock as his off-planet friends about present day Earth. I would like to see a scene in Infinity War where Peter visits his Grandfather, who we know is still alive as he was seen in the Earth scene in vol. 2. Past vol. 3 I feel like Star-lord would stay on the team, just because he is a fan-favorite and everyone would like him to stay on and be a tie between the current Guardians team, and a new one.

Chris Pratt was amazing as Star-lord/Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy. It was an emotional film for the character, and I see that James Gunn put so much effort into developing the meaning of family in this film.

WONDER WOMAM 1984 POSTER BREAKDOWN

A brand new poster for Wonder Woman ‘84 has come out with new armor for the princess of Themyscira,  Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) which is probably used in the final battle of the film. I will get into what this particular armor might be used for and what might be happening in Wonder Woman 84. In the comics, Diana has dawned a gold, full-body armor several times. One of the most notable gold armors that Diana has sported in the comics was the Golden Eagle Armor. This live-action suit is not the Golden Eagle suit, as the wings are absent, however, the design and of course, the coloring does look reminiscent. The use for that suit was for Diana to have more protection when fighting against Imperiex in the “Our Worlds at War” story. Of course, this story is not going to be what the Wonder Woman sequel is going to be adapted from, because that is Justice League event, and delves into more cosmic aspects. RICK AND MORTY THE WHIRLY DIRLY CONSPIRACY REVIEW

Season 3 Episode 5: On this episode of Rick and Morty, we get a Rick and Jerry adventure, and we also get a side story with Summer feeling insecure. So spoilers ahead for the episode, let's recap. The episode starts off with Rick dragging Jerry out of his single apartment to go on an adventure. Rick tells him that Morty told him to do so out of guilt. On the adventure, they go to a fancy alien truck stop where everyone is immortal within a barrier. At the stop, Jerry is approached by an alien, Risotto, to get Rick to ride a rollercoaster, the Whirly Dirly, where there is a point where the immortality barrier ends thus a hitman can take out Rick. Jerry accepts to do so after as he still sees Rick as the point as to where he and Beth got separated. Season 5 Episode 19: Hey, everyone, Arrow is back and this episode we see how Felicity betrays the team in order to accomplish the primary goal, to put chase away. So spoilers ahead for the episode, let's recap. In the episode we find Argus and team Arrow (with Oliver still not the Green Arrow) in an arcade trying to track Prometheus after the game, Maximum force is destroyed by Prometheus's traps, the team does not find him. Oliver gets to the Mayor's office and he holds a conference between him and the families of the victims that Prometheus has killed. We see that Quinten and Rene are consulting some of these victims and they have to assure them they are doing everything to put Chase away. Season 4 Episode 14: Finally, with the Winter Olympics over, we are back with a brand new episode of the Flash, where we see DeVoe's plan develop as he is in Becky's body, and it is racing with DeVoe against team Flash to find the ninth bus Meta-Human, that being the Fiddler. Spoilers ahead for the latest episode of the Flash, let's recap. Opening up the episode is Barry Allen returning to work at the Central City Police Department after his name was cleared as an innocent man. However, Captain Singh tells Barry that the mayor told him that it is best if Barry takes some time off work, so Barry packs up his things and leaves. At STAR Labs, jobless Barry meets Cisco and Ralph who got a box of forgotten items from the Meta-Human bus. Inside they find a CD which Cisco' vibes and discovers that a woman named Izzy, a country singer was on the bus.
