Season 10 Episode 13, Series Finale: It is time, the adventure of a lifetime is here, that is right, ten seasons, 280 episodes, and eight years, Adventure Time is has come to a close, in arguably the best, and definitely my favorite episode so far, with "Come Along With Me" directed by Cole Sanchez and Diana Lafyatis. Spoilers ahead; let's recap the episode and then go over the ending. A mysterious pair named Shermy and Beth find Finn's metal arm on the ground. Curious about its origins, the two visit the "King of Ooo", BMO who tells the two the story of the great War of Ooo. When Bubblegum, Finn, and Jake meet with Gumbald and Fern on the front lines, Jake activates the nightmare potion, sending the five into an unconscious world. In this world, Bubblegum and Gumbaldia chase each other through a psychedelic trip; Finn fig...
Well, I have not posted anything on here in the past year, except for this, my year in review of this year. This year had the theme of 'getting back to normal' after the lockdown phase of the pandemic. And, yes it is nice to the world healing. But for the step taken forward, I feel as though the world has taken two steps backwards. Through lockdowns I felt like humanity would launch itself into becoming a more robust, empathetic society, but this year kind of disproved that. I could go on about how we are taking no significant steps towards the climate crisis, or the ever expanding wealth gap, or any other issue that plagued us in the before times. But instead I want to point out that in 'going back to normal' we are letting the same narratives in the news of 'humans vs. humans' play out, and it is in all honesty upsetting to see. I wish that from lockdowns that we would see more empathy being extended in all areas of this world. I believe that if this were th...

Season 5 Episode 18: Hey everyone, after a hiatus the Flash is back with an episode, directed by Danielle Panabaker, picking up right where we left on the last episode, as we see Nora's origin story, her relations with the Reverse Flash, and the introduction of God Speed. So spoilers ahead for the episode. Recap: The episode opens up Nora in a meta-human cell and the rest of the team debates on whether or not they can trust Nora. Barry tells Ralph to read Nora's journal, as the team does. We cut to 2049, where we see Nora is a CSI, and with no powers, she runs to a crime scene to find that chemicals were stolen by an individual, who is later discovered to be a speedster with white lightning. Nora goes to the Flash museum to find that there have been no sightings of white lightning. Nora decides to go to Iron Heights prison, to visit Eobard Thawne, A.K.A the Reverse Flash. Nora asks Eobard how to take down a speedster, and he doesn't give her an answer. Nora goes ...
I never saw this in theaters, but now it's on Netflix, which is great. The 2017 animated Pokémon film "I Chose You" directed by Kunihiko Yuyama is a retelling of Ash Ketchum (Sarah Natochenny) from Pallet Town, adventures in the Kanto region as he tries to make it in the Indigo League, albeit with some Legendary hunting on the way. So spoilers ahead for the film, let's discuss I Choose You. To start off, I do have to say that the animation is great. Every character, Pokémon , all the landscape, the action, it all looks stunning. The mix between 2D and 3D animation is interesting has been used several times in these animated films. The film does a great job with its coloring in its scenes as well, from the unsets to Ho-Oh flying over, there are some truly remarkable shots which look great, and have a lot of detail. One thing which was interesting from the story of this film is that it was not traditional at all. Yes it followed Ash Ketchum getting hi...
