IRON MAN 2 REVIEW ... SO SPOILERS
Ohh the weakest of the Iron Man franchise
IRON MAN 2:
This film was average I think what didn't work for the film was the villain Whiplash and the Plot.
The film started off great with the Stark Expo scene and Tony's Alcohol addiction which leads to intoxicated blood ... Government stuff ... Russian Guy ... Party turns into a fight ...Bad guys idea ... Suitcase armor ...holograms ... Mark 6 ... War Machine ... Black Widow badassery ... Robo-showdown ... Good guys win.
What I am trying to say is that there were good ideas and concepts in the film but they were overpowered by the not so great scenes in the movie. But my favorite part of the film was the Mark 5 showdown on the race track against Whiplash in Italy. The film felt the very Iron man in that action sequence. However, I did like the Iron Man and War Machine team up at the end against Whiplash.
My favorite character of the film was Scarlette Johanson's Black Widow who is a great character that went from just a C-list supporting character to a B-list character to one of the most iconic superheroes ever. Her combat skills felt very reminiscent of those she had used in the comics. The other performances were great as well like Tony Stark (Robert Downy Jr) Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and James Rhode (Don Cheadle)
The addition of 4 brand new Iron Man suits was great. The Mark 4 seemed mainly for showing off but it looked the mark 3 a lot.The Mark 5suitcase armor was a bad ass it had a new color scheme of red and silver. We also did see the mark 6 which was involved in the main climax fight it had a whole load more of gadgets. The War machine armor looked great. It felt very military but it looked great.
Overall this film was average I will rate it 6/10.Well, there were good and bad concepts in the movie.Well, This review is so I can let you know my thoughts on the MCU movies before the start of phase 3.
As always thanks for reading take care
Rhode-call me if there are aliens invading the planet ...Tony
...Tony you there?
