SPIDER-MAN FAR FROM HOME TRAILER BREAKDOWN

Image
Hey everyone, we are back with a brand new Spider-man Far From Home trailer which shows off a lot about the definitive end for phase three, and what Jon Watts is bringing in this Spider-man sequel. But before we get started, this trailer has a warning, that it has major spoilers for Avengers Endgame. So if you have not seen Avengers Endgame, do not watch the trailer, and do not read this breakdown, it will also have spoilers. But getting past that, let’s get onto the breakdown The trailer opens with Peter Parker really upset, about the events of Avengers Endgame, more specifically, the death of Tony Stark/ Iron Man. Peter Parker seems to be swinging around in the Iron Spider suit back on Earth. I know that the suit is more protective and has more features, however, it appears as though Peter doesn’t want to let go of it, as it is a reminder of what Tony did for him, and who Tony is. In the MCU going ahead, Peter seems like he will want the void of Iron Man in a w...

SPIDER-MAN FAR FROM HOME TRAILER BREAKDOWN

Image
Hey everyone, it is here, the trailer for Spiderman Far From Home, directed by Jon Watts, has arrived, and there are so many interesting things going on with this trailer which we need to discuss such as the character of Peter Parker (Tom Holland), the villain Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). Before we get started, remember that this film takes place after Avengers Endgame, all the dusted characters are coming back (we don't know how) and the film is to take place minutes after Endgame. So let's get on with the breakdown. In this first scene, we see Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) introducing Spider-Man at a charity event where there appears to be press. It is interesting to see the relationship of May and Peter as Spider-Man seeing as though she probably has of had to grow with the idea that Peter is going to try to save the day no matter what.  The “Thank You Spider-Man” lime is interesting because the gratitude could be for Spider-Man saving the day and fighting in New York at...

"SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME" BREAKDOWN

Image
In an 'accidental leak' Peter Parker himself, Tom Holland revealed the title of the Spider-man Homecoming sequel which is "Spider-man Far From Home". The title teases many things so I will discuss what might be happening in the film and where this falls in the time, and spoilers for Infinity War by the way. Far From Home is prepared to kick off Phase four of the MCU and is set for release in 2019. The film is confirmed to be set after Avengers 4, like only a couple days after the film. So as we all knew, all the crazy stuff that happened in Infinity War will be resolved in Avengers 4. There are a few rumors regarding Avengers 4 which discuss how Peter will be affected, but I won't get into that. All we know what will happen to Spiderman in Avengers 4 is that he will be brought back to life like the other half of the universe who were turned to dust. The title does explain some stuff which was confirmed before. The Far From Home is referring to how Peter and...

BLACK CAT IN THE MCU

Image
It was announced a while ago that Sony was going to make a Black Cat and Silver Sable team-up film. At the time it was unclear whether or not the film would be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, even after the silent awkward Kevin Feige smile. But there have been casting calls for the Spiderman Homecoming sequel, and there is a casting that seems like it fits the description of Felicia Hardy. The casting call is for a European "femme Female" in her 20's. This description fits Black Cat perfectly. A female in her 20's, is around Tom Holland's age, so a relationship between the two would be believable to convey on screen. In the comics, Felicia did leave for Europe after her relationship ended with Peter; if a similar thing happened in the film, she may go to Europe because that is where she was from. So it is highly likely that Black Cat is in the Spiderman Homecoming sequel. Which by the way is not going to be called "Spiderman Homecoming 2", it will...

MILES MORALES IN THE MCU

Image
In Spiderman Homecoming there was an Easter egg for the Ultimate universe Spiderman, Miles Morales. So spoilers for Spiderman Homecoming if you haven't seen it yet, this is not really that big of a deal and won't spoil any viewing experience. So the Easter Egg goes, when Spiderman is tracking down where the weapons are, he questions Donald Glover's character, Aaron Davis who tells Peter that he "doesn't want the weapons in Queens, he has a nephew that lives here." Then Peter webs Aaron to his car leaving his Ice cream to melt. As many wanted Donald Glover to play Miles Morales, he is now playing his uncle in the MCU, who is also known as the Prowler. Aaron is tied to Miles' origin as Aaron worked at Oscorp, and one day a radioactive spider came home with him, Miles visited him and was bitten by the spider, thus giving him powers like Peter Parker. At the moment in the comics Miles and Peter are in the same universe, but to be honest, comics are ...

SPIDERMAN HOMECOMING POST CREDIT SCENES BREAKDOWN

Image
So as all Marvel films there are post credit scenes. With Spiderman Homecoming we got two, one at the mid credits, after the graphic credits, and the other one at the very end of the film. So spoilers ahead for Spiderman Homecoming, let's get to it. The first post credit scene is of Adrian Tombs (Michael Keaton) in prison where a man, Mac Gargan (Michael Mando) who has a scorpion tarot on his neck, walks up to him and asks Adrian "who is the Spiderman" and Adrian says he doesn't know. Marc says that he has "friends on the outside that are willing to slit his [Spiderman] neck". So Mac Gargan is the villain from the comics, Scorpion who seems like he will be the next villain of the Spiderman in the sequel. His friends on the outside may be a reference to the sinister six, who could be a series of villains. We know that Marvel and Sony want to do villains that haven't been done so we could see Kraven the Hunter or Mysterio join forces with Sco...

MCU SPIDERMAN 3 CONFIRMED

Image
In an interview with Allo CinĂ© , Tom Holland accidentally revealed that Spiderman Homecoming is the first in a trilogy of Spiderman films based in the MCU! We originally knew that Tom Holland was going to be in Avengers 3, and 4, and a Homecoming sequel, and it was all up in the air at that point, with whatever Sony is planning for their spider spin-off films. I personally thought that there was always going to be a trilogy because it's Spiderman, the character is too profitable. I would say that we get Homecoming in July, which has Peter as a Softmore in school. Spiderman 2, with Peter as a senior, and then Spiderman 3 with Peter at university, or with a job at Stark Industries. Spiderman 2 would probably come out 2019, and Spiderman 3, 2021. The sequel probably won't be shoehorned into the Marvel schedule that has been announced, as it is full. The reason why I called the Spiderman sequels "Spiderman 2" and "Spiderman 3" is even though there are th...
