FINAL DEATH PREDICTIONS- AVENGERS ENDGAME

Avengers Endgame is nearly upon us and very soon we will see some characters meet their doom one way or another in the coming conflict with Thanos. It is nearly impossible to tell who is going to die, however, I am going to go through the like hop of each character in Endgame to see whether or not they will die.

Captain Marvel
Brie Larson just debuted as the character and will not be killed off as she has a contract to fulfill the role of Carol Danvers in future films like everyone else

Chance of dying: 0%

Ant-Man
The same as everyone else, Paul Rudd is getting through his contract and will be in the future of the MCU going forward with a third installment film of his franchise.

Chance of dying: 0%

Thor
Chris Hemsworth's contract I believe is near expiration, however, since the reinvention of the character in Thor Ragnarok back in 2017, Hemsworth seems to be open to being portraying the character more, and will most likely get a fourth film, which has reportedly been pitched to Marvel Studios by Tiakia Waititi already.

Chance of dying: 0%

The Hulk
Mark Ruffalo said that he wants a small break from phase four, however, will return in phase five. The Hulk is also kind of impossible to kill, so that may be an issue as well, but he's not dying.

Chance of dying: 0%

Hawkeye
Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye dying in Endgame would also feel somewhat cliche, as it would be a story of a man sacrificing himself for the lives of his family. It would be neat, but I feel like some characters deserve a win for once, but there are twists at every corner in this film apparently, so...

Also, new Disney Plus tv series of the character has been rumored with Kate Bishop, meaning that it probably will not take place in the past, and instead be in the present day developing the character of Kate Bishop. But stranger things have happened, so it is possible that Clint Barton does meet his doom.

Chance of dying: 10%

Rocket Raccoon
It seems like the character bought to life by Sean Gunn and Bradley Cooper will be sticking around up until at least Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 whenever that comes out.
However, it would be interesting to see Rocket willing to sacrifice himself so his team can be saved, as he has seen acts of sacrifice from characters such as Star-Lord, Yondu, and also Groot in the past.

Chance of dying: 30%

War Machine
Don Cheadle has been around in the MCU for a very long time, and it would be equally tragic as it would be meaningful for the character to meet his final fate in this film, as it would rally the team together.
However there are rumors of the character getting his own Disney plus tv series, and it seems like something that would happen in the present day so the stakes are believable. But again rumors and plans can change.

Chance of dying: 50%

Iron Man
in 2008, Robert Downey Jr. kicked off the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and consequentially the Infinity Saga, as Tony Stark/ Iron Man. The character is the center of these films. the one who has had the most appearances, the most interactions, the most friendships, and the most development.

Throughout this saga, Tony has seen countless people sacrifice them for a greater good, such as Yinsen, Coulson, Quicksilver, Charlie Spencer. Three of these four deaths are on him. Tony has a lot of blood on his hands, and it may be somewhat thematic that for all the bad he has done (most with all good intentions) he ends up sacrificing himself to bring back half of the universe.

Thanos has been inside his head for six years, and Tony had the vision in Age of Ultron of all the Avengers and Earth dead, defeated. Tony admits to Nick Fury that the worst part about the vision was he wasn't dead. An appropriate pay off for that scene would be Tony avenging the Earth, the snap, and ends up dying, knowing that the rest of the team, Pepper, and the rest of the earth is safe, knowing that they won the day, and he 'did more', he saved them.

Chance of dying: 70%

Black Widow
The Russian soy portrayed by Scarlett Johansson has been a tent pole of the MCU. The character has been involved in nearly every major incident on Earth, and from that has built meaningful relationships with nearly every Avenger. If Black Widow died in Endgame, it would be something to bring the team together and give them something to truly Avenge- one of them.

I used to come up with the argument that if Black Widow died in Avengers Endgame, that her solo prequel film next year wouldn't do as well, as I used to compare it to the lack of hype around Solo. However, apart from the quality of that film, I believe that some of the hype surrounding that film being absent was that Harrison Ford did not play the character. I don't blame him for not doing so, or Disney for not de-aging Ford. But the Alden Ehrenreich portraying the character was something that made everyone skeptical.

However in the Black Widow prequel film, Johansson would be playing the character, and I believe that her performance of the character will make everyone invested in the film, knowing that the character is going to feel a little more genuine and connected.

Chance of dying: 80%

Nebula
Karen Gillian's character of Nebula in the MCU has been directly tied to Thanos ever since her debut in 2014. The character has a deep hate for her adoptive father and seems like the person who would be willing to let herself die to kill Thanos and also, more importantly, bring back Gamora.

Chance of dying: 90%

Captain America
Chris Evans has been in a Marvel film every year since his debut in 2011 as Steve Rogers/ Captain America. The character's main theme is sacrifice. Something that he is willing to do from fighting in World War 2, defeating Hydra, saving the free world, sparing Bucky, protecting the people of Sokovia, defending the rights of his fellow Avengers, and the balance of the universe. It is in Steve's nature to sacrifice himself.

Endgame will wrap up a lot of things, and Steve's subsequential sacrifice has been teased time and time again, and may be paid off, with him wanting to save to universe, and lay down his life, not only for his friends, such as Sam and Bucky, however for his country, but more importantly his planet, and life itself.

Chance of dying: 95%

Thanos
The character of Thanos has been in the background of the MCU for the past seven years and it seems like with his plan of erasing half of all life in the universe, working out, Thanos' story ends here- it ends in the endgame.

It seems like Thanos completed his goal, and he seems like the type of being who would realize his wrong after the Avengers stop him, and maybe Thanos is someone who can't live with himself after he has realized what he has done.

Chance of dying: 98%

Anyway, that does if for the death predictions I have for Avengers Endgame, the characters who I think will die, and the likelihood of them dying. It's gonna be rough if any of these characters bite the dust because they have been around for nearly ten plus years.
Comment below who you think will die in Endgame, and the chance they die.
As always thanks for reading, take care.
