LOKI AND SCARLET WITCH TV SERIES ANNOUNCED

Image
It has been reported that on the Disney streaming service, there will be two exclusive live action shows featuring Loki in one show, and Scarlet Witch in the other show, being leads, and reportdely connecting with the Marvel Cinematic Universe having Tom Hiddleston reprise his role as the God of mischief and Elizabeth Olsen as the first mutant in the MCU. This news is huge so I will go over what both shows could look like, and what else this means for Marvel television, and other Marvel characters. The Loki show is something which surprises me as a show which would be made. The character is apparently dead in the universe since Thanos snapped his neck. That means that with a Loki tv show, it would mean that the show takes place before Infinity War, possibly before the first Thor film, or somewhere else in the timeline. The other possibility is that Loki is resurrected in Avengers 4 and a television series follows him in the present tense. A Loki series will be interesting and wi...

CAPTAIN MARVEL TRAILER BREAKDOWN

Image
After getting the suit reveal images a couple weeks ago, we knew that the trailer for Captain Marvel would be on its way showcasing the latest hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the big screen for the first time. And here we are, with the trailer for the Ryan Boden and Anna Fleck directed Marvel film, Captain Marvel which reveals who Carol Danvers is Nick Fury's past, and a series of other things, so let's get right into it. The trailer opens up with a crash of a spaceship of some sorts, either a Kree controlled spaceship, or either a Skrull controlled spaceship. Falling from the wreckage is Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) in her green Kree suit as she falls into the late Blockbuster video, as those were around in the late 1990's when this film is set. This scene sets the stage, as it most likely happens at the beginning of the film, as Captain Marvel is not a straightforward origin story, as we see later. This is more of an origin of Carol coming back to Earth a...

JOAQUIN PHOENIX JOKER

Image
It was announced several months ago that there would be yet another Joker related film which would star Joaquin Phoenix and would be directed by Todd Phillips. I had no idea that this film started shooting,  but it has, and here we are with images of Phoenix as the crowned prince of crime in Gotham, or well before he becomes the crazed villain that we all know. The image above is showcasing Phoenix as the Joker, or what Philips said "Arthur" which appears to be the name of the Joker, the regular man who hasn't fallen into eternal insanity. In the images, Arthur is wearing a green jacket. The color is muted, however, is an important color for the Joker as of course green is the color of his hair. The image probably didn't have purple clothing because they didn't want to be on the nose with what Arthur is going to devolve into. This film is going to be set in the past, potentially late 80's, maybe early 90's. The film is being developed to show the or...

CAPTAIN MARVEL FIRST LOOK BREAKDOWN

Image
Yesterday it was teased by Brie Larson that new Captain Marvel images were going to be released, and here we are, with our first official  look at Marvel's latest hero on the cover of Entertainment Weekly and we also have ten other images from the set of the film where we see returning characters, and new characters and races in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so let's break it down. But let's start with the cover. In the center is Carol Danvers A.K.A Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) in her comic accurate suit which has the red blue and gold. The suit is based off the suit she used when she got the "Captain" title and moved away from the "Ms. Marvel" title, as in that time the character had a series of different suits, some of which we might see in the film. One of the main changes of the suit is the sash. In the comics, the suit had a sash which was on the left side of the suit. In this image, the suit has a belt instead. This was rumored a couple of ...
