THE FLASH "SUBJECT 9" TRAILER BREAKDOWN

With no new Flash episodes until February 27, I am going to break down the latest trailer for the next episode of the show now. I know I don't do many of these, that is because I don't have much time to do it, and there is only a week wait until the episode airs, so there is usually no point. But this is an exception, with the break, as I will be breaking down the trailer for "Subject 9", let's get onto it.

Opening up the trailer is Barry Allen/ The Flash (Grant Gustin), telling Izzy Bowin (Miranda McDougall), that she is in danger from DeVoe. Izzy is one of the bus Meta-Humans, the ninth, as suggested by the title, and that we have seen eight already. But DeVoe is stepping up his game in wanting to get the powers of the other seven or so Meta-Humans, and it appears that Izzy is next target. Team Flash must somehow find out that Izzy is the next Meta, and not any of the other unaccounted Meta's, which is the reason they are going after her.

Here we see DeVoe's lair. Sugar Lyn Beard is returning to play DeVoe, for what I assume is the next couple episodes, after the character of Devoe switched in Becky's body at the end of the last episode. I am not too sure for how long we will see DeVoe in Becky's body. There are a lot of theories that DeVoe will jump into Ralph's body and shapeshift into his regular Neil Sandilands form. I think that will happen in the last six or so episodes of the season. But in this shot, we see that DeVoe is monitoring Izzy like he does with most of the Meta's.

The character of Izzy is supposed to be the Fiddler character from the comics. As you can see the tv show is doing a change in that character, who doesn't seem too rememberable. But it is cool to see that this 70-year-old comic book character is debuting in the show. In the comics, the character had the character had the power of hypnosis which he performed with his violin. The tv show has the character with the violin, and it seems like she might have the ability of hypnosis, and possibly she can make some sonic notes with her violin as indicated by the violin. But this image above is what I will most likely use for the thumbnail of the review

Ralph (Hartley Sawyer), and Barry are at the bar where Izzy was performing and it seems like after they confront her about her powers, she laughs them off, but when they try using force on her, she discovers her powers and with her violin, blows Barry, Ralph, and their ears, away. This will obviously happen in the first part of the episode, but I am interested to see which side Izzy will choose if she will go with team Flash, or possibly be persuaded to side with DeVoe.

The last scene of the trailer is Ralph telling Izzy that she made him "like country music". This was a more funny note to end the trailer off. With Ralph in his super suit, this seems like the end of the episode. As we all know Ralph, he will try to get a date with Izzy, and it will be interesting to see if he is successful or not.

In conclusion, that does it for the breakdown of the trailer. This episode seems like an interesting episode as we are slowly finding all the twelve bus Meta-Humans. Episode 14, is the Subject nine episode, episode 15 I believe is the episode where we see Jay Garrick and Jesse Quick return, and then an episode after that we will see the special Iris episode which we have seen the set pictures of. But after that, we are ramping up for the finale where we will see the last Bus-Meta's reveal. I think the Flash will be the final bus Meta. But I would like to hear your thoughts on the trailer, what did I miss? comment below. Also share your excitement for the future of the season down in the comments below.
