BLACK PANTHER "IT'S A SET UP" CLIP BREAKDOWN

After the red carpet premiere of the Black Panther film, a new clip from the film surfaced from Marvel. I was going to break down this clip Tuesday morning, but the Ant-man and Wasp trailer came out, so now here we are, two days later breaking down this clip, so let's get to it.

In the clip, we see the casino scene, which takes place in a country from Asia. We can tell this is Asia from, first of all, the design of the casino, and second of all, this scene precedes the chase scene we saw in the previous clip; in that clip, T'Challa suits up as the Black Panther and chases down Ulysses Klaw and takes down the van using his new energy suit.

But going through this clip, we see Ulysses Klaw (Andy Serkis) shooting at T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman), and Evertt Ross (Martin Freeman) who is holding this silver briefcase. If I had to speculate what is in the case, I would say it is vibranium or some code to gain access to do with vibranium. With T'Challa trying to get the case, it appears that the case is a threat to Wakanda in some form, possibly it will allow Klaw to enter Wakanda without getting detected.

In the clip, we also see Okoye (Danai Gurira) fight some of Klaw's goons in the casino. We see Okoye pull out her spear from out of a small handle which she was carrying, so the spear does not stand out. I thought that Okoye was carrying the spear Wonder Woman style, in the back of the dress, but the way it is, is more practical. The clip shows off some of the functions the spear has. We see that it can be used as a real spear, which Okoye does not use it as. Okoye hits people with the spear, to obviously not kill anyone and this also the spear is made out of vibranium so any hit would hurt. But the spear also has an electric power to electrocute people during battle, which is awesome.

In conclusion, this clip from Black Panther is freaking awesome, as it shows how Okoye fights with her spear and its functionalities, and the clip also hints as to what Klaw is doing in the film.
