DCTV 2017 PROMO BREAKDOWN
Today we have got a new video advertising the DCTV shows and what is to come in the fall from the CW with Supergirl, the Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow. So let's break down some of the new shots from the promo.
One of the first shots in the trailer is of Iris telling team Flash "It's up to use to protect the City", as Barry, the Flash is gone into the speed force, some people are saying that Wally will wear the red suit that Barry wore, well until Barry comes back, then he might go back to the yellow suit.
Here is a quick shot of what's happening in National City, a Supergirl day. Like the Flash, Supergirl is getting her own celebration, as she saved the city from a huge invasion the year before. But this might be from a previous episode, correct me if I am wrong.
The shot in the thumbnail, Grant Gustin is back as Barry Allen in the future Flash suit. Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is in the shot as well. So what I think is happening here is Cisco manages to bring Barry back through the speed force, with his powers like he has done before. The new suit may just be something Barry comes out with, with no explanation given. Anyway, this shot is probably at the end of the first episode.
What we have here is some smart editing to make it appear as though Citizen Steel is taking to Kid Flash, the background looks similar, but these would be two different scenes from the different shows. The crossover hasn't started filming yet either.
Here is a shot from Legends of Tomorrow, where we have Sara kicking a Roman soldier. What is interesting here is that the Legends are in beach clothes, there might just be a Roman beach party going on, or the Legends are enjoying Aruba, in a broken timeline.
Anyway, Comment below your thoughts on the trailer down below and point out anything I missed from the trailer. Supergirl returns October 9th, to the CW, followed by the Flash and Legends of Tomorrow the following day, and Arrow on October 12th. As always thank you for reading, take care.
