A brand new poster for Wonder Woman ‘84 has come out with new armor for the princess of Themyscira,  Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) which is probably used in the final battle of the film. I will get into what this particular armor might be used for and what might be happening in Wonder Woman 84. In the comics, Diana has dawned a gold, full-body armor several times. One of the most notable gold armors that Diana has sported in the comics was the Golden Eagle Armor. This live-action suit is not the Golden Eagle suit, as the wings are absent, however, the design and of course, the coloring does look reminiscent. The use for that suit was for Diana to have more protection when fighting against Imperiex in the “Our Worlds at War” story. An image was released by Geoff Johns on Twitter revealing a banner for Wonder Woman 2, as seen above. The image has "WW84" with the letters obviously standing for Gal Gadot herself, as  Wonder Woman, and the 84 teasing the year that the film is going to take place, 1984. The film was rumored to take place in the 1980's, but this confirms the time period of the film, which teases what might happen in the film, so let's go through that. The first film focuses in World War I, having the films set in World Word II, seems like it would be another version of the first film, just being more horrific, so it makes sense that the sequel is not set in the 40's. In 1984, or the 1980's in general, there was one major global threat, and that was the Cold War, well that extended through 40 years, with the US, and USSR had their differences in their political views, and yeah, hydrogen bombs. At Comic Con it was announced by Warner Bros that the sequel to this year's Wonder Woman will be December 13, 2019! So I want to discuss what Wonder Woman 2 may be about, and what the date means. Many people have speculated that Wonder Woman 2 would be set in the Cold War, where Diana (Gal Gadot) can team up with her same allies from the first film if she wanted to or get an all new crew, that is up in the air. It would be the 70's setting where the film would have a spy tone, where Diana can go full stealth with the Invisible Jet. Speaking of the 70's, the film would plug in as many easter eggs to the Lynda Carter tv show from 77, which would be awesome. The villain of the film could be Cheetah, it could be Ares again as it is a war, but my personal pick would be Circe. With Wonder Woman hitting off to an amazing start single handily saving the DCEU, be the first Female superhero film, and be good. The film may get a sequel. Patty Jenkin's the director of Wonder Woman has said this about a sequel, in an interview with Fandango  "It's definitely something I'm very, very, very, interested in," So Wonder Woman is most likely going to get a sequel, there is a huge slate of DC films in development, but I would say Wonder Woman 2 would get a fast pass with the success of the film, and a sequel would be profitable. The film would not be a period piece like the first film. But a good way to take a sequel would be to focus on Wonder Woman after Justice League, trying to fit into modern society, however, she keeps reminiscing on the times in the war, with Steve Trevor. Another idea could be for Diana to parent Donna Tray, Wonder Girl. The reminiscing idea could incorporate Chris Pine into a sequel. I am excited to see Wonder Woman ...
