STAR WARS THE CLONE WARS RETURNS!


At San Diego Comic-Con, major news was announced by Star Wars that they are bringing back the Clone Wars series for a seventh season, and there is some insane news to go along with it. I will discuss what we might see from the show, the other series', and where and when this could be coming out.

The Star Wars the Clone Wars aired ten years ago, back in 2008, being the first animated Star Wars series which fitted into the canon of the films. Back in a time where there were no plans for any Star Wars film, the Clone Wars gave us a series which dove into the events between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, brightening up the prequel era in the Star Wars universe. When Disney bought Star Wars in 2012, the Clone Wars ended its six-season run the year after. Until now.

Star Wars Rebels was Disney's stand-in for an animated series, and it bought back a tone of Clone Wars characters, wrapping up their story arcs in the universe. When Rebels ended it was revealed that a new Star Wars animated series was going to release, called "Star Wars Resistance" and it would take place in the time of the sequel trilogy. I, like many others, was expecting that to be shown off instead, however, this is much more exciting.

The seventh season will continue straight from the sixth season back in 2013 I assume, with little time passing. In the series, we will be seeing the development of the Empire, like we see in the trailer with all the Star Destroyers above Mandalore. One of the most exciting parts of the trailer was Anakin seeing the hologram of Asokha. If you don't remember, in the Clone Wars, Asokha left the Jedi academy. In Rebels, the two do have an awesome reunition, but it is still awesome to see how the two do finally part ways in a satisfying conclusion.

The season will be closer to Revenge of the Sith so it will be awesome seeing the character development from this season to the final chapter in the prequels. The costumes in the season would also most likely be close to what the characters wear in Episode three.

I will definitely be reviewing the twelve episode season when it comes out like I did with Star Wars Rebels. However, the series is airing in a different place. It's not as simple as from going from Cartoon Network to Disney XD, the series is going to be on the Disney streaming service. The service does not have a release date out for it, but this is almost like the first piece of new content for the platform with a trailer. The service will most likely come out either very late this year or sometime in 2019. So hopefully, by this time next year, we will have new Clone Wars episodes.

Anyway, in conclusion, I am excited that the Clone Wars is back for a seventh season after five years. I am curious to see where the season will take the series, and the awesome adventures we can see Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Asokha go on in this mysterious time period.   Well, I have not posted anything on here in the past year, except for this, my year in review of this year. This year had the theme of 'getting back to normal' after the lockdown phase of the pandemic. And, yes it is nice to the world healing. But for the step taken forward, I feel as though the world has taken two steps backwards. Through lockdowns I felt like humanity would launch itself into becoming a more robust, empathetic society, but this year kind of disproved that. I could go on about how we are taking no significant steps towards the climate crisis, or the ever expanding wealth gap, or any other issue that plagued us in the before times. 2021, this year is everything a sequel to 2020 had to offer. From the glimmers of hope of getting out of this pandemic to the plunges of darkness that parts of the planet saw itself in at times, this was mostly a bitter year with some hints of a sweeter future in it. In the poster I made above I wanted to capture some of the biggest things which happened this year, and looking back, it is insane to see what took place. From an attempted fascist coup of the American government, the global supply shortage, the summer Olympics happening (for some reason), and not one, but two highly transmissible strains of C19. CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS PART II REVIEW ... SPOILERS

Part Two: Hey everyone, we are back with the second part of the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, this time on the Batwoman series. In this episode we see the Monitor’s plan fall into play, as a few new concepts are introduced. So spoilers ahead for the episode, lets recap. THE LAST CHALLENGERS ARE APPROACHING!

With only two characters left to be revealed in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate's DLC Pack Two (and seemingly the last two of the game) speculation has been running rampant. Whether both characters are revealed during Nintendo's June 2021 Direct, or one is revealed at a later date, I have my mind set on two possibilities of who the last two characters could be. IMPA,  The Legend of Zelda Out of Nintendo's flagship franchises, the Legend of Zelda has been grossly underrepresented in the crossover games of all crossover games. Since the announcement of Ultimate, over three years ago, Impa was the Zelda character I wanted the most to be a playable fighter. I know that Skull Kid was/ is the more popular Zelda rep, however, Impa felt more deserving in my eyes. Sorry in advance that this post is late. 2023 is a year that had several lows, but I would say there were sprinklings of light throughout that may give me rose-colored glasses when looking back on it. As we approach closer to 2030, I can not help but to feel anxious about the 'kicking the can down the road' attitude that most  government about the Climate Crisis we are living through. With the hottest summer ever recorded and destructive wild fires and floods in most continents, the need to save the habitability of life on Earth is desperately needed. Immense change must be made into how we use and depend on resources. In a just world, there would be no Climate Crisis. But politicians fueled by their own greed and who only look out for the welfare of the rich, do not want to.
