JUSTICE LEAGUE RUN TIME REVEALED

The runtime for the theatrical cut of Justice League has been revealed. The superhero team-up will clock in at 121 minutes, or 2 hours and 1 minute. It was previously thought that the film would have a long 2 and a half hour runtime, but this 2 hours runtime is perfect. It is a good length where things won't get dragged out for too long, keeping the film at a good pace, and hopefully enjoyable to sit through.

Compared to the other DC Comics films, this is the shortest run time.

  • Man of Steel- 2 hours 23 minutes
  • Batman vs Superman- 2 hours 31 minutes
  • Wonder Woman- 2 hours 21 minutes

Justice League will be much shorter in runtime by comparison. It appears that DC is trimming down scenes that drag out too long, which were complaints from Batman vs Superman. I even felt like some scenes in Wonder Woman were played out a little too long. So it seems like Justice League will learn from its predecessors' mistakes.

The film did have rumors to have entire characters being cut out, which might be the case, with the shorter run time, but maybe not. It seems like as much as this is a Zack Snyder film, it feels like Joss Whedon trimmed down the film's runtime. Snyder has been known to make long films, and it feels like Justice League would have been no exception to that.

Anyway, I am excited to see what happens in Justice League, with the shorter runtime which will be a nice change in the DC films. When there is a home release of the film, I wouldn't be surprised if there was an extended cut, to have an additional run time of scenes that were cut out. Sorry in advance that this post is late. 2023 is a year that had several lows, but I would say there were sprinklings of light throughout that may give me rose-colored glasses when looking back on it. THE LAST CHALLENGERS ARE APPROACHING!

With only two characters left to be revealed in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate's DLC Pack Two (and seemingly the last two of the game) speculation has been running rampant. Whether both characters are revealed during Nintendo's June 2021 Direct, or one is revealed at a later date, I have my mind set on two possibilities of who the last two characters could be. IMPA,  The Legend of Zelda Out of Nintendo's flagship franchises, the Legend of Zelda has been grossly underrepresented in the crossover games of all crossover games. Since the announcement of Ultimate, over three years ago, Impa was the Zelda character I wanted the most to be a playable fighter. I know that Skull Kid was/ is the more popular Zelda rep, however, Impa felt more deserving in my eyes. CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS PART II REVIEW ... SPOILERS

Part Two: Hey everyone, we are back with the second part of the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, this time on the Batwoman series. 2021, this year is everything a sequel to 2020 had to offer. From the glimmers of hope of getting out of this pandemic to the plunges of darkness that parts of the planet saw itself in at times, this was mostly a bitter year with some hints of a sweeter future in it. In the poster I made above I wanted to capture some of the biggest things which happened this year, and looking back, it is insane to see what took place. From an attempted fascist coup of the American government, the global supply shortage, the summer Olympics happening (for some reason), and not one, but two highly transmissible strains of C19. Movie theaters opened back up this year (kind of). A lot of 2020 films that were pushed back saw their release. But who cares about that, we had TV show movie hybrids this year.   Well, I have not posted anything on here in the past year, except for this, my year in review of this year. This year had the theme of 'getting back to normal' after the lockdown phase of the pandemic. And, yes it is nice to the world healing. But for the step taken forward, I feel as though the world has taken two steps backwards. Through lockdowns I felt like humanity would launch itself into becoming a more robust, empathetic society, but this year kind of disproved that. I could go on about how we are taking no significant steps towards the climate crisis, or the ever expanding wealth gap, or any other issue that plagued us in the before times. But instead I want to point out that in 'going back to normal' we are letting the same narratives in the news of 'humans vs. humans' play out, and it is in all honesty upsetting to see.
