GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 REVIEW

This is a non-spoiler review:

So Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 picks up around 2  months from the first film. In the film, the theme of family is expanded upon, and it works really well, we have the introduction of Kurt Russel as Ego, Star-lord's father, and the factor he played in the film worked out really well.
The rest of the cast was great, the original Guardians still all had their charm, Yondu in the film was expanded upon as a charter, which was great. Nebula had an interesting arc in the film, and the introduction of Mantis worked out well the character made a great addition to the film. Baby Groot in the film was great. The humor he had wasn't cringey like I expected, and there were some great jokes told through the character.

Some of the only complaints I have in the film is some of the jokes. They get a little repetitive, you will know when you see them. A couple of the jokes were in the film at the wrong time which takes you out of the story a little bit, but most of the humor sticks great. In the film the antagonist feel a little disjointed, they do fit into one story, but when we are cutting between them, it feels a little choppy. But it does work out.

Anyway, Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 have you seen it? if you have, comment below your thoughts on the film.  But If you haven't seen the film, go see it, there are like 5 post credit scenes, so stay to the end. The film overall was great, the theme worked well the characters were developed more, and the film was entertaining. The spoiler review will come tonight, and there will be so much Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 stuff happening this weekend. As always thanks for reading, take care.
