MILE MORALES CONFIRMED FOR SPIDERMAN ANIMATED MOVIE

.@PhilipLord and @ChrizMillr are bringing the Miles Morales story to the big screen in all-new animated stand-alone SPIDER-MAN feature.

Sony had a press conference for all their animation projects today and they revealed that they are going to have Chris Lord and Phil Miller (21 Jump street and the Lego movie), to direct the new animated Spiderman movie which is going to focus around Miles Morales!

So we are going to finally see Miles on the big screen, having Miles on the big screen will be a tester to see how well he will be with a mainstream audience before they eventually put him in the movies, possibly in the Spiderman homecoming sequel, which could be spider-verse.

I wonder if Peter will appear in the movie, he most likely will, but it would be awesome if this film set up like an animated spider-verse of movies, like we could get a Spider-Gwen movie, or a scarlet spider, spiderman 2099, there are so many alterations of the character from the spider-verse, but they definitely do need to include Spiderpig.

Casting for the movie, Donald Glover voiced the character in the animated series and it would be great if he reprised his role, as he is playing Mile's uncle in the film verse I believe.
But everyone wanted Donald Glover to play Miles Morales during the amazing spiderman time, but he didn't, so if he was the center of a spiderman film, that would be great.
I don't know who the villain could be, possibly the sinister six, as there was going to be a sinister six movie like las year, but with the rights to Spiderman kind of changing that was off the shelf and in the trash.

But don't get animated movie confused with the animated tv series coming out this year, I don't believe that they will connect, but that could change.The movie comes out next year but this year is a huge year for spiderman, there is a new animated Spiderman tv series and new video game, and there is, of course, the new spiderman movie, Spiderman Homecoming.

Overall, I am so excited for Miles Morales to take the center stage of a movie, it is going to be great to see the character on the big screen for the first time.The movie comes out on December 21, 2018.
